idk about you guys, but i tried a different block to charge my pro1 for two days. what i noticed between the stock block charger and a different block is charges much slower and doesn't over heat within 25 minutes. standby time is heavily reduced when using a different block. stock block seems like it can hold the charge more than a different charging block.

I turn off my shutter sound on purpose. There are settings in open camera and the lineage stock camera to enable disable shutter sound. Maybe try fiddling with the settings on and off until it works. ?

yes, i am also interested if there is some type of high quality glue that maybe, some repair technicians can recommend? and tips are greatly appreciated,, since there was one guy who explicitly stated there is no need for a heat gun , and now he's saying he definitely needed a heat gun. am very interested since i have to change my cracked screen... its not so bad,, maybe waiting until its fully cracked lol.😁

i'm pretty sure if you place an order 45 days before christmas, you'll get it by this christmas 2020 for sure. i think they are going to ramp up the marketing and spread the word in 2021.. honestly, it is actually good for them to release the phone in 2021 and make a huge come back with an uproar. big success for FxTec for the year ahead, we're rooting for ya ! we want to see you succeed so we can buy parts and look forward to the Pro2 :))

well, based on whats included, in the lower right hand side of the picture, there's some tape, adhesive. not sure what he used though... or what kind of glue FxTec used... would be nice a more quality glue.

@VaZso how is your experience between the two displays, the original and the aliexpress elephone U ? i'm not talking about margin errors or ghost touches... but the overall feel, swipeness, color dispaly and all that other jazz. what else do you notice between the two?

sorry, can i reflash the phone with my up to date lineage, with the same up to date lineage ? i want to completely wipe the phone ,, my battery life is unbearable after i got it back. do i just need to do the same exact steps in the lineageOS directions ?

people who changed screens from the original to the elephone U.... do you notice any difference in the quality, sliding experience, crispness of display? etc.

not sure if you noticed, but in open camera you can choose to record in stereo, and unlock 4k recording.

so how did they wipe my phone? do you think they were smart enough to re-flash it? or did they enter the passcode with too many wrong attempts and it erased all my data? i got my phone back, it still had lineage on it, doesn't look like they reflashed it to stock android from google with gapps... paid them a 100$ for it... with my screen cracked in the lower right side.

sooooo...... is there a way to locate my phone on lineage without gapps or google account ? my lovely pro1 got stolen last night...

i think its on my end... from the app "scrambled exif" which scrambles the data and then when it's shared its shared all upside or rotated... but i know it happened to me when i attached a pic in an email.. without the share button, just regular attach a file. if i get the "bug" to happen again without using that app, then i'll let you know. (i don't take too many pictures to notice)

did we ever get a fix for this? yesterday i tried to share some pictures that came out 90 degrees out of angle. and today i had a few pictures at 180 degrees and the rest all 90 degrees out of sync... all my pictures when shared are out of the normal angle.

On the silence sms app,, when i click on the info button for a particular message, it shows me time sent, time received, and type of message.

does the OTA also downloads and upgrades the new image recovery? or is it just the build that gets upgraded?

https://www.phonearena.com/news/Cheat-sheet-which-4G-LTE-bands-do-AT-T-Verizon-T-Mobile-and-Sprint-use-in-the-USA_id77933 looks like from the main page higher and faster bands, notably, on verizon, you're working with only 4 out of their 7 bands... maybe this is the cause for the verizon unfortune happening to the Pro1. att has an extra band of 17 over tmobile. unfortunately, faster LTE speeds can't be reached, i don't think, notably in the 66, 71 bands, since Pro1 forgot to implement these bands in their specs when building the phone.

on my phone, i realize now, that the volume down button is a longer harder press, stays pressed for longer. on the volume up button is is quite instantaneous and doesn't stay pressed down as much as the volume down button. two different kinds of feels. and the volume up "leans" more to inside the casing. slightly. both work fine though.
