This mornings sunrise over the mist and one of the last photos of my gorgeous dog, that I had to put down due to nasal cancer a few hours ago. Ten good years. (Reduced to get below the limit)

My doggo looks cute but it never listens...

Et voilà!

The right stuff!! Aren't they just great... Have had a number of German Shepherds in the family since I was a baby, but the white ones are just soooo much better. All the good from the other ones, and an ice cold psyche that does not let it get bothered by anything....

Ice cold psyche, more or less.. Unless somebody's around the house who is considered trespassing, that's more or less anyone.
Anyway, a great pal most of the time.

But yours is waaay more relaxed.

In his ten year life I have only once seen him react slightly disturbed once. We were at a station, and they called out on the speakers to move away from the edge, as a fast train would be passing. I moved in a bit in but he didn't bother, but when the train came towards us with 100+ Km/h, he lowered his head a few inches like "What the f.. is that?" but didn't bother to move otherwise, and just turned his head and looked after the train as it had passed.

Another time in the winter he went on some too thin ice. Fell through, turned around and broke the ice crawling in, shook the water off and went out again a bit beside the track he had just made....

So yes, quite relaxed nature 🤣

Ohhh, I feel so sorry for you, @EskeRahn 😞 I know a lot about cancers.. Both our Shepards were affected by cancer and both time it was the end 😞 so I guess it was fast and unexpected 😞 I am sure it was nice time for both of you, you have tons of memories and on the other hand, ten years is quite a lot for this size of a dog, isn´t it? 🙂 R.I.P.
