I have now processed the refund request for you. We're just a little overwhelmed at the moment, but we should get back to everyone by the end of this week. Workload piling from months of lockdowns has to be done in a few weeks.6 points

You should be able to dirty flash. I think you need to delete the app signature database first so the lineage key check doesn't fail. But that should be all.4 points

OK, first of all...THX for the usefull Links. Display arrived and a professional repair center fix all. Phone is now working and in good condition. If somebody is interested now in a working QWERTZ Pro1 located in Hannover Germany with NEW Display. PM to me. ******SOLD******3 points

My proximity sensor has a strange delay in dialer app when I'm moving phone away from my face. It takes 2-5 seconds to turn display back on after I move the phone away from my ear and I can't end the call during that time, which is very frustrating. Detecting when I put it back near my ear works almost instantly and is not an issue. Testing the proximity sensor in factorykit doesn't have that issue, status of the sensor changes instantly both ways. It looks like some artificial delay in dialer app or a bug in dialer app itself. Anyone has this problem? I've also found that using some2 points

I wonder who was surprised by getting it earlier than expected. I'm surprised that happened 😉2 points

FYI... Made huge progress on selinux today. I should have an enforcing build by end of week. And I think it can go official after that.2 points

If it is happening to multiple people (sounds like it is) and arbitrary keys (again, sounds like it is) then it's almost surely a software issue. I'll have to double check, but I believe that userspace (Android) does the key repeat, not the kernel. This is the reasoning for marking it upstream. If that is true, then the issue is most likely related to timing under high workload.1 point

@Erik same Problem here. requested a refund on 13.05.2020. Would be awesome if you can look into it as well, also bank transfer. Thanks in advance.1 point

FYI, I did report this on your issue tracker in April; you marked it as upstream bug. https://github.com/tdm/android_device_fxtec_pro1/issues/52 I was unsure if netmans keyboard driver (pushed to stock early march) fixed it or not since I've been on lineage (which now results in accent chooser instead of bunch of repeated characters) but sounds like still an issue there too...1 point

Not to my knowledge, apart from a few 'promoted' to the locked status-thead like this post1 point

Bank account transfers are more complicated. Our bank here in the UK requires a director to physically visit a bank branch just to add a new payee to the account. I will chase someone.1 point

@Erik Mine is ignored as well. I confirmed it immediately and gave them my bank account. Since then, three weeks passed. I even wrote them another reminder mail a week ago, but nothing happened. Would be great if you could refund me as well so that I won't get another phone I don't need anymore (I bought a used one instead). The return cost would be more expensive.1 point

My display has started acting up. There is a single blue line running the entire width (in landscape) of the display about 20% of the way from the top. Has anyone else seen this? I've been waiting four days for a response from F(x)tec support.1 point

You've probably answered this in the past but I've forgotten... when it does go official, will we be able to dirty flash official, or should we wipe & start over then?1 point

I have two and both are broken 😠For €2000 they are both yours. 🤣 Come on it's a bargain.1 point

You can install and run Lineage at any time. My builds are nearly identical to the official builds.1 point

This is probably one of the latest update from FxTec staff: Now if you read between the lines what @Erik really means is that they are completely overwhelmed with the workload. I'm trying to organise RMA for one of my Pro1 assuming I won't see it again for at least 6 weeks.1 point

Thank you _DW_ for sharing these issues. TheKit, how much effort would that mean? Anyway, as you seem to be the one behind ubports-fxtec-pro1-v0.5.zip : Any plans to improve it newer versions?1 point

@EskeRahn @Waxberry @Erik Could you guys organise to remove the time limit on posts edit? That would indeed enable people to write and maintain guides and articles here on the forums.1 point

I'm in the same boat... As far as I know you can only move forward without clearing. But have a bit more patience, I do believe a certified version is not that far out in the future.1 point

https://github.com/ubports-on-fxtec-pro1 is correct. Rootfs currently has manual tweaks for configs, as I didn't plan for the image to be released publicly and it more served as demonstration, but if there are enough interested parties, we could properly integrate the device on UBPorts CI for OTA updates and support in installer.1 point

TP=Touch panel. I do not know if you can get the TP and Display as separate units, or they come integrated from BOE, But the whole thing is available for less than $100, ( BF060Y8M-AJ0-7702 ), so if either function should fail, it is an affordable thing to change both.1 point
