Yeah, Lineage fixed this by assigning the yellow F key to 'Meta' (aka Super, Windows-key). There are the built in Android Shortcuts and Bookmarks. Somewhat of a long shot but does this per chance happen when playing voice messages on whatsapp/telegram/simiar? That happened to me and I thought the device had gone mad, but after some investigation i found out when playing voice message the proximity sensor is active which turns off the screen when something comes near. The purpose being to turn off the screen if you put the phone to your ear, and normally it's not noticed because people hold their phone in portrait mode. I found that in landscape mode my thumb easily gets in front.

Fingerprint lost on reboot is an existing problem also for me, I don't think it is a hardware issue but a software (firmware / blob) issue instead. The screen problem is really a problem... maybe it is a loose connection of a cable, but it is a very unfortunate situation. 😞

Yes using the wrong apps! I can only think of two apps I use regularly that force portait. One of this is a solitaire card game and I play it one handed touchscreen so no need for keyboard, and the other is google hangouts and it is indeed very annoying when it forces portrait in some screns... to the point I installed 3rd party app to keep it from rotating back portrait on me. Every other app that I want to use keyboard for is fine landscape... obviously browser and email apps, plus chat programs like discord/riot/telegram... games like supertrux, supertuxkart, rvgl, sonic cd, retroarch em

Well, in my case, I HAVE autofocus. But it only works for near objects. Far objects I cannot focus automatically nor manually. I tried 'Open Camera' app and MANY OTHERS and far objects (infinity focus) do not get sharp. If I change from CameraApi to CameraAPI2 I can focus manually, and the counter goes up to 1000 meter, but actually at like 20 centimeter it is done.. everything else is in the fog. With stock ROM: no such problem.

I have, but I've built the images myself (as I didn't want to wait for the official status), so maybe my builds are slightly different? I want to mention that with the update to official the display density (the size of display elements) has increased. I am in the US using AT&T with a 4G connection. I received that email. So I checked my phone. VoLTE is provisioned (see below) although the Fxtec isn't on their whitelist. I used the Network Mode Universal app to turn off WiFi calling and set it to LTE only, and it seems to make calls without a problem. Voice Network type is shown as LTE. Fingers crossed, but I think it may be OK.

Oh god... it was the USB cable (or slot). After researching for a while I found the advice to use a shorter USB cable. I did that. And what can I say? The verification went alright and it installed fine... Installed the gapps too (for safety although already installed before) and it boots fine!
