There was Lantastic (Artisoft) that time which worked well (both as client and server) and Microsoft also had some network client with IPX/SPX and TCP/IP support for DOS. Also, there were Novell Netware which was also a "network operating system" but practically is some kind of DOS. Moreover, DDOS as Distributed Disk Operating System is not make much sense as distributing a practically single-threaded system over a computer network is not a really good idea.

Also still have no stock assigned mail for IGG / EU / QWERTZ order. I feel no chance of receiving it before Christmas as there are only seven working days remaining and they need maybe 4-5 working days for delivery from UK to have any chance to arrive. So, practically, they have about two working days to ship my unit from UK while there is not even a stock assignment mail for me. Also almost no chance to arrive this year as there are only two working days after Christmas in this year.

Yes, it is possible, but I hope it is able to identify additional keys. There are definitively keys which can be pressed together like modifier keys anyway. However, most likely the keyboard is physically built up as a matrix (just like in casual PC keyboards). This matrix has rows and columns and the hardware see a keystroke by driving the rows and sensing the columns (or the other way around) so it can differentiate what column in what row of a key was pressed. The possibilities and limitations of hardware are depend on the actual solution (schematic) and the layout of the keyb

As far as I understood well, they are sequential but not consequent. I mean between #10000 and #11000 can be less devices than between #11000 and #12000 because every cart had its own number but not every cart went through and became a real order. Also, it seems mostly payment date matters and that way handling orders will not be the same as sequential order numbers. (However, I don't know how date of payment request and payment dates are compensated, it they were compensated at all - I have a feeling that the mechanism is not perfect...)

Similar situation for me - IGG backer, pre-order in the 116XX range, prompt payment in 2 minutes and still no stock assignment e-mail for my QWERTZ order. I hope I will be in batch 3 as it seems people have started to have stock assignment e-mails even without IGG coupon. In my country, the reputation of the local postal service is not very good. However, usually there are no problems with them, especially with higher-priced services. On the other side, UPS, FedEx or DHL have much better services (their reputation and speed are much higher). However, they are also more expensive, especially when VAT administration takes place. Yes, internal memory will definitively grow up to this range and also 1TB microSD cards are available, but they are quite expensive now. ...but 512GB cards are definitively came close to a reasonable price range and only one year ago 256GB cards were in the same price range where 512GB cards currently are. So that means 256GB cards are currently cost about half the price of last year's.

Yes, first I will try with non-working cards before trying to do it on my own card (I have some pre-paid cards which I bought for testing purposes but were timed out before refill)... I hope next time I will have a phone which will have two real SIM slots and a microSD card slot separately - maybe also eSIM support but currently I don't think it will become widespread in the next few years (at least not in my country). I don't know if other solutions of hybrid slots are identical or not anyway. In addition of the above, I hope Pro2 will support two SIMs + uSD card simultaneously. 🙂
