Interesting maybe I could implement something like that in Fx Service too 😁 I just contacted support, let's see how well they deal with that. Regardless that does not bode well for the longevity of that device if it needs a screen replacement every six months it's going to get boring real fast.

Have they also offered to fix it themselves?

What was the solution from fxtec? Did they send you a screen for you to replace?

Looks like is mostly on one row. Just turned it back on and it's still acting up. Totally unusable, could not even reach the debug settings.

The problem did come back last night. Pro1 is switched off. I still need to contact support.

It was off most of the afternoon yesterday. Used that time to customise another a new leather case. Turned it back on in the evening now using that new case as I'm suspecting the other case could be causing static build up. So far so good but let's see how long it holds. Last time it took like 24h for the problem to come back.

This morning it went mad again. Turned it off for one hour did not help. It's unusable ATM. I have to contact support.

It was acting up again tonight for a short while. Cleaned the screen and that fixed it.

That would be my guess too. It was evolving over a few days, at first cleaning up the screen was helping until it got so bad it didn't help anymore. It was like the screen was reading my fingers even though they were 1cm from it.

Yes, simple restart or quick shutdown did not help. I'm a bit concerned it will come back, so far so good though, let's see how the day goes.

After leaving my Pro1 turned off for a few hours the problem seems to be gone, thankfully.

I've turned off my Pro1 as those ghost inputs were really bad. I probably won't be able to input my PIN when I turn it back on.

Just published release v0.9.6. Carefully with this one as it will loose you all your tabs. Make sure your bookmark the ones you need before doing the update. It brings much improved closed tabs restoration and options to not launch third-party apps.

I does look like they have major problems dealing with processing and logistics. That or they are trying to make it look like relatively recent orders are being processed cause they just can't match production to the volume of back orders. I want to believe it's the former. I mean those guys are all sitting in London and since the pandemic all they can do is get China on the phone to see what's going on.

Not even 6 months of use and it looks like my left Ctrl key does not give feedback anymore. Thankfully it is still working, it just won't click anymore, so it is hard to tell if you are pressing it properly.

Well not exactly, it is based on WebView. For users: no. For developers: while I have not looked at it I seriously doubt it. Fulguris comes with a built-in ad-blocker.

Fulguris release v0.9.4 is now available. It adds support for desktop mode.
