I just had that same issue. Though I have been using Fx Service for months and never seen it before. To fix it I just restarted the accessibility service. I can see two possible root cause: The last release slightly changed the way it uses the proximity sensor. Maybe that regression was introduced then. However you were first reporting that issue in an earlier release. Maybe it has something to do with Battery Saver mode as I recently started using it.

I reckon you could probably go 30 hours with 6 hours of screen time using Battery Saver.

Well they do have that Battery Saver mode.

My Pro1 battery usually can last a day of average use. However, too often I find it overheating and thus wasting battery power for no obvious reason. I've had issues early on and tracked it down to Gmail, disabling auto-sync or using Fx Service to schedule auto-sync usage mostly fixed the issue. However lately I found it overheating more often even when auto-sync was disabled. My workaround this time involves turning on Battery Saver and leaving it on all the time. I'm just getting started with this solution but so far it looks very promising. Now my concern is that even when t

Odd, I never have any problem with it, outside the fact that it takes 2 seconds to respond. It would be if they exposed it properly. However I doubt they have fixed that or even reported the problem upstream. @Erik @Waxberry ?

That one it pretty awful, it should be FxTec number one priority as far as software improvement goes.

If the product is successful I doubt they will ever have the production capability to get ahead of the orders. That means order with long lead time or secondhand buy are probably your only options.

Yeah ok, it is average I guess, so if you are having a busy long day on your smartphone you will need to top up to make sure it does not let you down. I guess it all depends to what you compare it to. Compared to a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge I would say it is equivalent. That's a four years old flagship. Devices like Huawei P30 Pro however can easily take you through two days without charge.

Good luck with that, be prepared for a bumpy ride. First the battery life is less than impressive to start with, so in five years time you may have to charge it five times a day. Then the quality and longevity of some of the components has yet to be proven. The weakest link being certainly the display. On the plus side reparability is really good. So providing that you are stock up on spare parts you should be alright. You can start by ordering a second one 😁

That rings a bell. I vaguely recall having issues with the proximity sensor when using one of those sensor test apps together with Fx Service. Do you have any other third party app using the proximity sensor too?

So far I'm really happy with Fx Service auto-rotate. It does appear to fix our stuck rotation issues. It does not appear to negatively impact battery usage. However it looks like it could be optimized a bit. Maybe by adding some hysteresis and disabling it when the display is off. Mine tends to always be in portrait when I unlock my phone. Nevertheless it's already totally usable.
