On top of the rotation getting stuck it also keeps bringing up the virtual keyboard even though the physical keyboard is open. It's been working fine for like 6 months but now really acting up. I'm starting to understand the frustrations other users have expressed on those forums. It has something to do with the opening and closing of the keyboard. Maybe I can implement another workaround in Fx Service.

That's now happening multiple times a day. A reboot did not help, most annoying.

I am at 62 days but thinking it could use a reboot. The rotation is being funny, I have to launch the camera app at least 3 times a day to fix it. Ho well that was a good run.

@ToniCipriani If you have a qwerty you may want to use Fx Qwerty as an alternative to FinQwerty. If you want smart cover and other quality of life features check out Fx Service. If you want a web browser that works best in landscape try Fulguris. Full disclosure: I'm the developer of those three apps 😁

Not with stock no, Lineage OS does it though. However IMHO while at first tempting this feature is in fact not very desirable once you got used to the keyboard. Also there are a couple of alternative keyboard layouts available such FinQwerty or Fx Qwerty that can help you have better access to international characters.

Pro1 does not have the best call quality and signal strength. That was to expected TBH. That said signal strength has not really been an issue for me. Call quality however is sometimes a pain.

I'm guessing we won't see any software update until they have resumed shipping significant volume of devices. To be fair spending time and money improving software for just around thousand devices simply does not make sense. Shipping has now been stopped for about 4 months. That very small batch of qwertz from a month ago hardly qualifies as 'shipping' regardless of what FxTec would have us believe.

Just published release v0.8.8. That one should please users not using full screen gesture navigation as it is now possible to unlock tabs and bookmarks drawers from Look & Feel settings. Also improved text size adjustment shortcuts.

Sounds like you guys all have something in common: you were running Lineage OS and/or using third party camera app when it stopped working.

Just published release v0.8.6. @Craig Notably added shortcuts to change text size, hope they suite you. You will loose existing settings.

I've been working on version 0.9 which should bring a complete overhaul of the settings.

Feeling so sorry for the FxTec team that despite all their efforts and when it looked like they might pull it off that pandemic totally derailed their plans. Feeling sorry for the frustrated customers still waiting for their phones. Feeling lucky I got mine just before the factory was shutdown. Interestingly Pro1 runs on the same SoC as Oculus Quest so there is still hope they could source them long enough to fullfil their orders. My understanding is that Oculus Quest is also mostly unavailable now. FxTec is not the only tech company to fall victim of that pandemic.
