This is going to be a funny one. I'm the lucky owner of two broken Pro1s. Both from mid January batch. One I used for 6 months: Relatively poorly assembled to start with as the screen does not connect to both rubber pads when open causing more rattle than it should. Left ctrl key does not provide any tactile feedback anymore. Touch screen triggers ghost inputs rendering the device unusable. One I just got delivered yesterday from a gentlemen who hardly used it since he got it in January: Better assembled as the screen connects to both rubber pads when opened.

I've added a feature in Fx Service to disable the touch screen.

Just published release v0.9.2 adding an option to disable the touch screen for those of us experiencing ghost touch inputs. Just be careful with it as I don't know what happens if you reboot your device while this is on for instance. Please don't blame me if you need to reset your phone because of it 😁 I've updated the certificate so you will need to uninstall the previous version first.

That would mean no OTA anymore. I've noticed that wireless update notification too but so far it does not bother me so much.

How long have you been using it?

To be fair we could just use the forum now that the edit time limit has been lifted. Just tag your articles with wiki or doc or article or whatever you fancy and you are done. As a bonus people can also comment on your page content 🙂

I can live with that if it means they bring Android 10 sooner 🙂 I doubt it though.

@EskeRahn @Waxberry @Erik Could you guys organise to remove the time limit on posts edit? That would indeed enable people to write and maintain guides and articles here on the forums.

Very few early adopters had it, including myself. Once we reported the issue they withdraw that OTA. Unfortunately that meant we got stuck with broken cert for months. No Disney+ 😱😁 Since I'm a lucky guy my touch screen started malfunctioning a couple of days before they eventually fix it 🤣

Just installed it and it looks like the certification issue is fixed cause I can now download disney+ 😁 It did not fix my touch screen issues, unsurprisingly...

Fingerprint reader is not working anymore? Don't you just need to retrain it? Interestingly that OTA is showing on mine too, hopefully that should fix the Google Play Store certification. Too bad my touch screen is not working properly anymore 😁 Can somebody confirm whether fingerprint reader is still usable after that OTA?

Is there a way to download the latest certified official firmware and flash it to my phone without loosing my data, if possible? I'm stuck on a firmware with a broken certification because of botched OTA. All I could find is the following but the image is from 2019 so I'm assuming there are some more recent ones: If I simply do a factory reset from the settings will I need the reapply each incremental OTA or will I still be stuck on my uncertified OTA?

AFAIK you can only import bookmarks from text file ATM. Bookmarks panel is also very basic. I'll improve it as soon as I get a chance. It would be nice to be able to reorder bookmarks much like tabs.

Was there a thread somewhere with instructions on how to replace the screen?
