  1. @Tim6263- Does macroDroid allow for key presses to be part of the trigger statement? If so, then the Esc key could be monitored and the screen turned on as the action.
  2. @MonCon and @xhajt03 - Would it be possible for you to install the LTE Discovery app and report what band you are connected to that works for data and voice, along with your location, and cellular carrier? Mine works on Band 4 with T-mobile. I have tested this in Minnesota (Twin Cities area) and the Memphis area of Tennessee. T-mobile likes switching it from Band 4 to Band 41, even when the Band 41 signal strength isn't as strong as Band 4. Once it does this, data won't work. Unfortunately, due to it being a Qualcomm modem, the apps that can pick a preferred band don't work (eve
  3. I think I figured out why this issue came up when I switched from the Pro1 to the Pro1X. I looked on my Pro1 and that option isn't in the Swiftkey app settings. It is in the android settings. So when I backed up and restored Swiftkey, that setting wasn't captured.
  4. I found that setting in the SwiftKey app settings. Thanks @Rob. S. and @Hook. I'll see if this combination will also avoid the random virtual keyboard popping up too. But the way it is now is *much* better than it had been the past day or so.
  5. I'm not finding that path. Is that in the SwiftKey settings itself or in the Android settings? I did find out that when I *thought* I was disabling SwiftKey in the Android settings, I wasn't. It was just graying it out and leaving it active. I had to leave the Gboard keyboard active, and then I could deactivate the voice keyboard and Swiftkey. So I think what happened is, before I installed Swiftkey, the problem was there, but not as prevalent. When I installed Swiftkey, it became a regular every time type of thing. Of course, I don't have these problems with the Pro1 and Swif
  6. This also happens when I hit the virtual "send" icon in WhatsApp to send messages. That's really annoying.
  7. I've been looking all over for how I made the esc key turn on the screen on my Pro1, because I wanted to do this on my Pro1X too. So the reality is the esc key turning on the screen was a built in feature for the Pro1, but went missing with the Pro1X? Has anyone found a way to do it? I'm guessing we'd need a way to map the Esc key to the same input provided by the Power button?
  8. I didn't have SwiftKey installed on the Pro1X until today. I can try uninstalling it though, as a test.
  9. What seems to cause it to happen is when you tap inside the box you want to type in. Once a physical key is hit, then the virtual keyboard disappears again.
  10. I do use Microsoft SwiftKey, but this problem was happening before I moved that over from my Pro1 to the Pro1X. I also just tried disabling Gboard, Google voice typing, and SwiftKey, as well as the Spell checker under Languages & input, rebooted the phone, and the problem still exists.
  11. On mine, if I go into Settings->System->Languages & input->Physical keyboard, there is a setting for "Use on-screen keyboard", with a description of "Keep it on screen while physical keyboard is active." I have that setting turned off, but the problem still exists.
  12. On my Pro1X, when the physical keyboard is open, the virtual keyboard will often pop up. I know I've seen other people mention this bug, but I don't know if I ever read a way to avoid it. Thoughts?
  13. That doesn't seem to work. Does it work on your Pro1X?
  14. That's possible. Hard to know if the curve of the cable is the same or opposite, based on that one photo.
  15. How did you get Android 13? Mine is on Android 11. I know it is a keyboard mapper, but what are you remapping that isn't set up how you like it with the defaults?
  16. I apologize if this has been mentioned in this topic, but is there any documentation showing bugs that we might see in the Pro1X on Android that we won't see on the Pro1X with LineageOS?
  17. On my Pro1, I am used to keeping my keyboard open, even when I'm not typing. With the YouTube app, I can switch back and forth between full screen mode (landscape) and exit full screen mode (portrait), by using the icon in the lower right corner of the part of the screen. This allows me to get to the rest of the stuff under the video that shows in portrait mode (share, comments, description, etc.). I simply rotate the phone, with the keyboard open, to access those areas. On the Pro1X, the exit full screen icon doesn't work. Anyone have any ideas if this is a YouTube app issu
  18. I've been using a gcam port on my Pro1 for years. Should I still use that on the Pro1X, or is there something better? The stock camera app interface on the Pro1X isn't to my liking. I haven't done a lot of testing on picture quality with it.
  19. I guess I was hoping things were pretty standardized. What happens if the resisters are different? Will it not provide power to the phone, not charge, or something else?
  20. Some other candidates: VIVO B-N8 XlAOMl BM4E M1805E10A, Poco F1 Armoured Edition Globa, Poco F1 Armoured Edition Globa, Pocophone Poco F1: Infinix Smart, X5010: 9 Pro, M2003J6B1I, M2003J6B2G, 9 Pro Max: David
  21. I took another look at this. They both have the same arrangement of Dash-Dot-Dot-Dash, for the connector contacts, on the battery cable end, but the dashes seem longer for the OPPO R17 than what is shown in @Whitey's photo. It may still work, but I'm wondering if there is another, similar connector, with the dashes being shorter. If anyone wants to send me a Pro1X battery, I'd be happy to figure it out.
  22. @Casey, I have ticket 19555. I've direct messaged you my other details that I included in the original email to info@fxtec.com. Thanks! David
  23. Thanks, @Casey. What would the ticket ID be?
  24. I got my numbers mixed up. It is physically smaller in the long direction, but bigger in the width direction. I don't think it will fit in the Pro1 enclosure. It might still be usable to power a Pro1 if the original battery dies, but it wouldn't work with the phone all put together. We'd need a battery that is long and skinny, like the Pro1 battery, and then convert the cable to the right connector. This explains how they were able to cram so much power into such a small battery. They weren't! 🤣
