Any new activity on a ticket puts it at the back of the queue, as far as I know. They most probably are simply overloaded with demands, considering the phones from the "70% of pre-orders" batch are still arriving.

https://stackoverflow.com/a/32007151/200328 Edit: Woops, that still should get you the option on Linux (although the comment about multiple installation packages might be relevant). You might want to call up "man" on "java" instead of trying blindly, though.

I know it, but isn't the point of deleting their profile that they don't want it to be known anymore?

While the idea of paying the customs fee that was already included in the phone's price a second time, then having it be re-reimbursed by you is indeed a good solution, the issue here is about the amount indicated (300 instead of at least more than twice this amount, unless maybe an IGG coupon was used). From what I can tell, signing the first document (the one with the pre-filled 300.00 USD value) would be committing perjury.

Definitely not a typo, just look at her previous messages. Upon closer inspection, the date she got her stock assignment message is prior to anyone else's for this batch, yet the tracking number got received around the same time. I'd guess her order was put into the batch specifically instead of through the standard sorting of orders. That's fine, I was worried we actually had an extreme example of the absurd situations the large differences in order volume from different countries can lead to with their chosen sorting strategy.

Am I correct in assuming that since you already sold your previous Pro1, this is about a Pro1 you actually ordered and thus paid for in December 2019? o_0

I don't think it's the first time people mistakenly read this message as someone having received a stock assigned message. I agree it's an easy mistake to make since it's formatted like, and in the middle of a flood of, one of the posts reporting a stock assigned message. It actually says no email.

At a guess, the keyboard layout might have had an impact. Could you confirm that the other people you are comparing your order to also gone for a QWERTZ layout (and have no IGG coupon)?

I've had an equivalent effect on Linux while reading mangas on the same website for hours. Basically, Firefox never freed the memory it used on this website, so each page ended up increasing the amount of RAM used. I just ended up solving it by copy/pasting the URL into a new Firefox session from times to times. I've not done that in a long while, so I can't tell you if the problem has been fixed through updates or not.

That's how it is for people who paid their pre-order but don't have a tracking number yet.
-
It's just the quirks of the web interface, don't worry about it. We all have that until we get the tracking numbers.

You can add at least Asia to that list (rejujacob and evozero).
-
Nothing in these two examples can contradict our current understanding of the sorting order (or imply that one of them should have gotten a message), since neither got stock assigned. Have you perhaps made a mistake in the example you chose?

You can find this info at the bottom of the fxtec.com page.

From what has been said in the previous (and quite possibly only) wave for this last batch, the setting has been set to "all of them": everybody seems to have received the mail around the 43rd minute.
-
Looks like they're not messing around with the postage and delivery times, that's nice to see.
-
Yup, and so the nice thing to do would have to not apply this rule in places where you got very few orders. Too complicated for something they don't care about? Fine. For it not to be yet another slap in the face, they could simply have told us right from the start that this was the ordering strategy. Why would anyone hide this?

I am unclear on when it won't make things unfair. Is about the timezone, meaning that some people would have been awake on time to pay immediately and others would not? If so, congrats on making it much, much, much worse, since now you can pay months later and get it earlier.
-
France, paid on Thu, 1 Aug 2019 06:06:37 (GMT), not part of the batch (although I didn't get confirmation of that), so RIP non-existent other French non-IGG people on the waiting list. 😆 Basically, if your country has not a lot of people that speak English and/or if your usual keyboard layout is nowhere close to either QWERTY or QWERTZ, you are in a very bad spot.
-
Thanks for this, I now believe they are sending the mails manually for some reason, and that we'll see more of them tomorrow. No way they'd be so bold as not to include all IGGs orders in that one.

Hey, I just want to confirm that I am not on the very last spot. Anyone else from France has not yet received their device and is still part of the pre-order? On the forums, there's like three of us that openly indicated our country in France, one already has the phone (with IGG coupon), the other cancelled. The two other people from France on the Discord already had their device before this batch (dunno about IGG coupons there though). Am I getting shafted real hard by their odd sorting system or are there like a bunch of French people that got their device on that last batch?
-
I suspect the criteria was already in play before this batch. We did notice the irregularities before, and they may have simply been due to that.
-
So if I get that right, if you are in the EU and don't have an IGG coupon, since people don't tend to specify in which country of the EU they are and the forum is not really representative of the consumer base, nor do people tend to indicate exactly time when they paid, regardless of when you pre-ordered and when you paid, the only info you have is "you are among the pre-orders" and you have absolutely no idea where you are in the queue (not even if you are the very next or the very last)?

Welp, the posts about e-mails being received seem to have seriously slowed down. I am assuming they do not send them manually and so that the stopping has no link with the day coming to an end. Guess it's time to panic and beg the postman.
