  1. Still there. A little odd... you first actually have to launch the two apps you want to split. Then you have to go to the app switcher. I use the old navigation bar, so I just tap the square to get to the switcher. Then hold the icon over the first app you want on the split screen. It offers the option to "split left". Then it will ask you to pick the card for the second app. Just tap that apps card and the two apps will pop up in split screen. Used to be easier and more flexible, but I think that's probably Android 12.
  2. Thanks for hanging in there so long. Very disappointing, but Lineage 19 is okay, just underfeatured. 😉
  3. I wasn't judging or doubting you; merely stating that I was puzzled because my experience had been quite different.
  4. I am not questioning anything you are saying but I have had several customer service interactions with Francisco, including sending my Pro1 to London for repairs, and he has always been on topof things an extremely helpful. So, I am puzzled.
  5. I think you know this and just had it as an assumption, but the important thing is to type the response above the line indicated in the email or the help desk system may fail to parse it correctly.
  6. I suspect no one at AICP is using a Pro1 anymore and these are just automated updates with no actual updating being done.
  7. And I have been continuing to do OTA updates weekly, all successful, nothing breaks, but what the heck is that long delay as the updater prepares for first boot. It is literally hours now. Lol. Luckily I'm working on my laptop Monday mornings. 😄
  8. Yeah, much as I loved AICP, I'm just not going to trust and depend on it for those very reasons. Having only 1 pro1, I'm staying with Lineage 19 as my daily driver. Once I have my Pro1x, my Pro 1 will become my experimental device to try Droidian, Sailfish, no google Lineage, etc.
  9. The first question would be were you bin tbe past able to use the phone for long periods without this happening? Is this recent? If so, whatt have you added to or changed on the phone in recent history, I would look for the culprit there.
  10. Yes, I didn't get it from there, but that was essentially the same instructions. The question I don't know the answer to is whether Droidian is using Phosh (mobile version of Gnome, I believe). If so, that Phoc.ini file is what you want.
  11. I would check with FxTec to see if they have any understanding of what the problem might be. You can also find out if they can sell you a replacement screen and get it to you. It will be extra work, but you can get a replacement screen (without the frame, so you will have to remove the old display from the frame and attach the new one) for pretty cheap from AlieExpress. Here is a link that has been working lately (there are different shops and some may have them and some may not) : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2251832770186063.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2jpn4itemAdapt I usually get
  12. This was happening to me on the PinePhone with Phosh. I found instructions for editing the Phoc.ini file to change the default number. I would imagine there is probably some similar ini file for Droidian, but don't know.
  13. Lineage 19 allows you to set a default camera app for a long press of the camera button. Mine is assigned to open camera. The short press does nothing.
  14. We can try @Casey, but chances are, you would need to contact them.
  15. I think so, but none of us know. I would contact FxTec and ask them.
  16. No need to restore Stock Rom. I last time I sent mine in it was on AICP. They can reflash it if needed.
  17. Check the phone menu, which is found in android by typing *#*#4636#*#* on the phone keypad and then tapping phone 1. VoLTE toggles should be there. It's a question of are they greyed out or able to be set.
  18. Joke aside, if they authorize you to send it in, you are likely to get it back within a month, depending mostly on how many other repairs they have. They have spare parts right now. if needed, so they will fix quickly and return. The first time I needed a repair on my Pro1, it was a month including travel to and from London (from US). Second time, I knew I had to wait months for parts, but when parts were available, they had repairs done in 2 weeks.
  19. I don't mean to make it a big deal. Aside from it always being posted here, I check IGG regularly. FxTec has more important things to worry about.
  20. Nope, not in spam and email address hasn't changed. And I know we're not the only ones. 🙂
  21. Okay, I guess it is just too long since I had stock Android on my Pro1. Sorry.
  22. That is normal for Stock Android-- that is the recovery. You should see "Start" near the power button. If yyou use the volume up or volume down rocker you should be able to cycle through a number of choices including reboot to bootloader. Start does a system restart. You pick your option with volume and then hit the power button to make it happen.
  23. Yes, here too. Luckliy someone usually gets the updates posted here. I check into IGG once a week (largely ignoring the comments section, lol,) Don't where the email notifications are broken, but looks like they are.
