  1. I don't use fulgris but I like the fact there's the choice to use it. I use firefox. I don't even use the PRO¹ yet 😄
  2. Simple Tab Group is the one for you to take. I have 3000 tabs around now and firefox handles it like a champ with only 1.5GB of RAM in use (I've been too busy to take care of my tabs... I think I need holidays; I'm starting to browse internet during work time) @Slion: Can fulgris sync with firefox? What about the 3000 tabs? Can it handle that absurdity?
  3. Even better. They swallow all fees themselves. Edit: There you go, 7 coffees-worth of money.
  4. Do you have any cheaper (as in, higher % for you) way to provide my monetary contribution such as liberapay or ko-fi?
  5. F(x)tec is trying to get all the stuff required for the phone to work linux mainlined. Maybe F(x)tec have all the drives open-source at this time?
  6. Someone has posted the tweet about current status
  7. I need to recheck where I got my source data. This is not adding up. Hey, @Erik! About @madeye's post: Proven or disproven? Is it a choice of yours (which you are entitled to) or is it a platform limitation?
  8. I went through their stuff in the rules for creators and I figured out it's not even something I'd call a "feature". Igg doesn't even give a choice on the matter. No refunds, even if the creator wants to. Probable wrong sources used here. See @madeye below.
  9. Is Auto-rotate ON? Does it happen with running an app that doesn't like to work in landcape?
  10. I prefer ⇞, ⇟, ↸, ⭸, ⌦, ⎀, but I don't mind your choices.
  11. Even though F(x)tec is small, the companies f(x)tec has no choice but to rely on are not. Usually that is true because they have no outside dependencies. In this case, there are many dependencies. Having an OTA update approved by google for Android costs 10000$ or more per build. Snapdragon has preference on the priority for the chips Cases have to be mass-produced, although not in the millions, which requires a factory willing to accept. Otherwise, it's prohibitively expensive to produce. How do you know the prototype they have shown is actually a good product? It l
  12. Yeah, specially because Linus audience is much different from the niche. It did get some exposure for us. I know some people responded in the comments there about the phone with interest while some just reiterated about old SoC and such. He knows how to make a show, he knows how to put parts together to build a PC.... However He doesn't know (and didn't understand at the time) why the PRO¹ is stuck with a SnDr 835 (and not an 855). He isn't into keyboards, because he types just fine, etc... Unfortunately, the camera software leaves a lot to desire when comparing to other flagship phon
  13. @jjarmasz With the android that comes with the phone?
  14. Yeah. I agree. The 2nd suggestion (picture 3)
  15. @matfI think that even if we send the recommendations now, it won't affect the Christmas units. However, we hopefully should still be well on time for the March units. Out of those options, my current favorite is number 3.
  16. Looks really good! The 4-6 pictures are missing, though.
  17. Are you willing to fly on your expense to UK to sign a testing contract?
  18. So... I'm quite decent at typing at my PC: However, at my phone, my typing speed is abismal: But I was told that typing using swipe is faster! I didn't want to believe, so I tried again... And I got 14WPM (65 CPM) but 66% accurancy. Then I used the small separate clumsy BT keyboard I was given as a present last year, that from time to time disconnects at will (doesn't register a key press when disconnected). I had my PC desktop in front of me, so I had somewhere to place the phone while typing: Way better. Much more accurate. Somewhere in betwee
  19. Can't do CTRL+Shift+Arrow on that one... So, not my "walk in the part"
  20. Depends on how the keycodes are configured. In my PC, CTRL+AltGr doesn't default to CTRL+Alt when nothing is configured for it (running linux 5.4). However, that may be configurable. I will need to check
  21. I agree. However, CCP virus came, we got a pandemic of world proportions and we are stuck with that...
  22. Btw, As a reminder I made a suggestion in the past for a non-shifted QWERTY keyboard more tailored to Latin-originated languages (PT-*, ES-*, FR (Non-ASERTY), IT-*, EL-*, etc...) It may be meaningful to take it into account here. I do find it weird that they went ANSI standard, specially given that they are UK-based. Pretty much only USA uses ANSI (as it is an USA standard). Most of the world uses ISO standard. However, it is how it is 🤷. I'll be living with it OK, after some mispressings. I do agree it's not a good idea to go that path. I guess F(x)tec
