  1. There are also some antenna connector on the back (usbC connector side) who connect lower half with upper one, as a ground for antenna if I understand correctly. I recall that @claude0001made a picture in another post, but don't find it anymore. This is a bit tricky to dismount, but doable. Be cool.
  2. as far as I recall, yes, the rubber band trick had probably worked in my case but came too late in my knowledge. Yes You can also measure battery voltage, but if you fall under 3 volts your battery is probably dead. Be carefull if you want to disassemble it.
  3. No, I didn't try a headset, it's far from my definition of practical use. However if this works it should point an other pro1X's hardware problem, but I have yet no time to test this. However, thanks for your suggestion,
  4. Yes, LineageOS sorry I should precise this point. In my case phone calls are not so bad on my side, it's just appears on the other side, very bad sound quality. I've tested with two phone carriers as I'm sometimes in an other country. It appears on both carriers, so I guess it's more a phone problem here as it doesn't happen with my titan pocket.
  5. it's not every time, but unfortunately it's not usable as I've sometimes customers who call me for business, making things more complicated... Pro1 was not perfect but I never had this problem.
  6. After 1 week of use as mainly phone, I can't use the pro1x for my daily use. Wifi, GPS, Mobile data (and a termux archlinux container), all this things are working good (and the keyboard with some custom mapping using KeyMapper is very cool), but phone call quality is a mess. On my side it's ok, but 50% of my phone call are uncomprehensible for the other side. I haven't such calls problems with my titan pocket, unfortunately, and I feel confortable with a battery who holds three days in a solid-like-rocks device. The pro1x will be now the perfect GPS for my old car (the most expensive
  7. I do that on my old pro1 No problem with the key himself, it stills work today. (but doesn't solve my keyboard problem, other story) Sorry the picture is blurry but could be interessant to give an idea from the dark side of the pro1s keyboard...
  8. everytime I see the phone on my desktop I think "unbelievable, it's here..." I feel lucky as the direct concurrent keyboarded-phone from Planet computer seems to be a complete scam now. (I don't expect a Pro2). That say, I wish you a good ending for the saga.
  9. I wonder if the keyboard is the same, as I have a Pro1 who works perfectly but the keyboard is dead. Probably the keyboard's FPC, sometime keyboard works perfect and most of the time not. Does anyone know if we could find a Service Manual for the pro1 X ? I will probably dismount the whole old pro1 first to look a bit further. My idea is to swap keyboards parts between Pro1 and Pro1X, but not sure this would be possible.
  10. Same boat here, azerty layout works perfect in LOS21 but I will probably use this phone daily only if I could find a way to install a linux distro. I tried an archlinux container in termux but it's unstable, will probably dig into an alpine container with busybox, was very stable in the old pro1. I will report in this forum if I find a solution.
  11. Sound interesting, any source or report on what's working and what's not working ?
  12. quite easy...too late for me but good to know 😄 I measured 3,20V on the battery connector at red flashing state, is this voltage the very low battery state ? I thought it was more around 3V, but probably depend on battery model/technology Also I inject 4,1V direct on the battery connector, and in about 30s I had 5% battery, so this trick is very good !
  13. You are lucky, mine doesn't boot, with a battery at 3,2 V, and a dumb red light who said to me : Not charging, you will have to completely dismont your brand new pro1x ...😑 Edit Ok works in LOS21 now, but what a sh... it's tricky to apply a bit more voltage directly on the battery connector, and also dismounting the whole thing.... What's a very big surprise, is to find a typical french AZERTY keyboard with é è ç , wich I had mailed fxtec for more as two years to switch in a standard qwerty but well... I'm going to try this beautiful-blue-things, at least the keyboard works good, and th
  14. I confirm, but don't want to enjoy too early as my phone seems to be in transit after two years, and earthquake are even possible... but what a surprise.
  15. There's maybe simply nothing to says here. But I wonder me if I should hope becoming a Pro1X one day in 2024 or not.
  16. unbelievable ! you did it ! Fxtec lack engineers like you. If my pro1x ever comes one day.... ...but however thank you ! 🙂
  17. @Rob. S.You should try the Unihertz discord, people are really friendly and helpful. For Titan Runo Keyboard I'm not sure for stock as I use LOS here, but I believe some guys are using old blackberry keyboards apps or so, also in discord you could directly contact runoono, and you can find a link with old good blackberrys apk here : https://drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/1dTgOPrUKRcouXNhCbGlLQjQPUKnI1eHV ...welcome back in 2000's... edit : if you want to give it a try seems to be ok for stock, and not dangerous for your phone integrity. You will probably have to rebo
  18. I'm happy with my Titan Pocket. If I compare with my old Pro1, Wifi and GPS rocks. Using Gargoyle GSI so far with ruuno Keyboard (who's in developpement but quite usable at least for me), this keyboard implement a Ctrl key who allow to use Cut Paste Copy shortcut and also a Tab - Right - Left key on the task bar. When you press sym key you will access a symbol screen and all keys are accessible with physical keyboard, especially $ ~ { [ ] } for command line. It needs a little work to learn how it works but with a little time of pratice it comes quite easy. Don't misunders
  19. It's relative easy to install gargoyle GSI LOS on Titan Pocket especially if you use a linux system as you must install some scripts to make the rom fit in the phone memory. Not a big deal when you come from pro1 and had installed thousands of custom roms. There are links with software and rom if you want your Titan back to stock. Also the Titans user (unofficial) discord server is really friendly, reactive and helpful for such things. But you should wait for Gargoyles 1.3, announced end of september. I guess this will be easier to install and there's also a new keyboard app in devel
  20. As my pro1s keyboard is bad and things are slowly worse I have a titan pocket with Gargoyle GSI (LOS). Nice device, small, solid and three days battery life. I miss my full keyboard but so I can wait for a pro1x in a decade or never...
  21. Alpine Linux with BusyBox and some Magisk module should work.
  22. 😄 agree with you but GPS with OpenStreetMap is a great functionality for me in LOS20.0, does this tools (or similar) works in Sailfish OS ?
  23. At this moment, I have installed an Alpine Linux container with some Magisk Modules (as my archlinux container don't work well with LOS20.0). Of course your phone must be rooted. The Alpine linux works with busybox, who is installed and symlinked to the Magisk built-in busybox binary. (Using the Magisk Module : Magisk built-in BusyBox, then install the BusyBox apk) The Alpine-linux is chrooted via FerryAr scripts (using Magisk Module : Linux Chroot Installer -- note that with this scripts you can install other distros, but only Alpine Linux worked for me, wich is good, as Alpine Linu
  24. yes, I was talking about pro1 spare parts, sorry for misunderstanding here. Also as all backers haven't received their pro1x (wich is my case) this is understandable, in my opinion.
  25. I've got mine last month, spare battery and spare screen. But I send a message to Casey for another question. As far as I know they are sending Igg's spare parts but slowly, I suspect they have one only man to check all perks wich can take weeks, also (at least for me) this small company make the maximum to satisfy their customers and I feel happy to have a phone who looks (quite) new more of two years after I bought it, valuable service. But of course you should not be in hurry here.
