I've already read this thread and I seem to be having a different issue. It's not that it's hard to scan, it's that despite trying a few different form factors of nfc chips I have never once got it to register even an attempted read. Unfortunately I don't know if the stock OS was able to do any nfc, I bought the phone used and it arrived with a carbon-fiber-looking skin already installed on the back. hmm i need little help. Is here anyone with installed los22 and with Volkswagen car? I am on oddsolution lineage version and i am unable to connect Android auto to MIB2 car stereo. All ends with message on radio something like Unable to connect. On los21 was it without problem so i need determine if is it problem of old car stereo firmware , or oddsolution version or any los22 .

I want to root my Pro 1 X (QX1050) device. Honestly, it's very uncomfortable in its default state. Is there a LineageOS rooting guide? I'm trying to root my Android phone for the first time in almost 10 years, so I'd like an easy guide.

So I received my phone not too long ago and I had to install lineage OS 21 to fix the keyboard problem AZERTY phones have (as documented by @zegoo here : https://community.fxtec.com/topic/4113-problem-shift-key-with-android-azerty/?do=findComment&comment=69357), and when I put my sim card in (bouygues telecom) everything works fine EXCEPT mobile data. I can make calls, I've checked the APN and everything is fine, I just can't use mobile data. Anybody have an idea of things that I could check ? -

Hello, hope everyone is well. I have bought a f(x)tec pro1 x that runs Android, and I am keen to install Lineage OS on the device. However, I am not very tech savvy and I don't seem to be able to do it using the guide on the Lineage website. I follow the steps, but the device doesn't respond as the guide says it should. Are there any good video install guides that have been created, or indeed are there any technicians or anyone who can help install it on a phone? Any help appreciated.

When I connect my device to my Windows PC via USB, I can't transfer files because the MTP option is not enabled. I see the QX-1050 entry in Windows Explorer, but when I open it, nothing shows up. The cable is not broken because USB debugging works. Is there anyone else having the same issue as me? I'm using Lineage OS 21.0.

I am having issues with my battery draining fast and my device turning off as I mentioned in my previous question. I am using the basic Android 11 OS, will flashing Lineage OS solve these issues? (I have flashed other phones with CM OS in the past, so flashing itself is not difficult.)

Hello, i have installed Lineage 20 on my Pro1 today. Before i used the Stock OS. I know the Hall Sensor who detects if the Pro1 is opened or closed is broken on my Phone. That was no Problem on the Stock OS. I deactivated in the Slider Option Landscape when opened and everything worked fine. Now the Pro1 stucks in Landscape and there is no Slider Option on Lineage. Is there a other way to deactivate Landscape when opened? Greetings Andre

It seems I have to give up stock android and move to lineage for security reason. Before I do this, I wanted to ask the community about banking apps on lineage. Does it work? I understood we have to use magisk, but reading the forum, I see that users also have some difficulties make it work.

Alright, after toying with it for a few days I have cracked dual booting and decided to write up the steps myself. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DATA DOING THIS. Credit to @order#10248 for proving the concept. First thing you will want to do is re-flash stock android on your phone. There isn't an official repo for this yet but @Waxberry has kindly provided one on this post. Download and extract the files from there and run the script fastboot_all.bat or you can download my modified linux version flash_all.sh. As in the title. The standard method is TWRP, but, as far as I know, TWRP for the Pro1 only supports SailfishOS and doesn't support LineageOS or /data decryption (aka device lock). In a nutshell, I want to try be able to clean flash a ROM and be able to revert to my current setup without hassle.- 1 reply

So, out of the blue I lost the red lines under misspelled words. Likewise, if I click on a word that I know to be misspelled, no suggestions come up. When I go into Settings, System, Languages & Input, under "Input Assistance" I see "Spell checker" which says "Not Selected." When I click on it I see a grayed out "Languages, Not Selected" (despite having English - United States selected elsewhere), and "Default spell checker" (which is black and selectable), but also says "Not selected." I'm having another keyboard issue which I also found mentioned here: Specifically the part which states "...sometimes it produces some random characters inside a word. Sometimes the cursor jumps randomly somewhere. Sometimes it switches Caps lock on when I don't press any button even near to caps. I have been pulling hair out trying to figure out how to turn on the auto correction for the physical keyboard in Lineage. When I type texts it doesn't correct simple things like say I type Im, or wont, without the apostrophes it won't correct them. However, using the onscreen keyboard it will. I'm certain there is a way to turn this on, but can't seem to figure it out. Please help! I am interested to hear from you which experiences you made in comparison with both. Especially, I am curious if the updating works in AICP. I have only used Lineage OS so far, and I tried a few times to upgrade the ROM with the internal upgrader, and afterwards the phone didn't boot anymore (I have Magisk root, and disk encrypted, that seems to be a problematic combination). Does this work with AICP? -
On stock Android I was using Fx Service color filter feature to basically implement my own Night Light version. With Lineage OS we can look at it from a device manufacturer perspective and better customize Night Light as explained there: https://source.android.com/devices/tech/display/night-light My goal would be to make it darker than it currently is at maximum intensity, by either just changing the temperature range or even fine tuning those equations parameters. Looking at the new pro1x, and lineage os as a way to get Google out of my life, but I've read about some issues with android carplay needing Google play services. I was hoping to completely get rid of Google, not even have gapps, any thoughts?

Hi everyone. Lineage OS 17 is installed on my Pro1, coming from Lineage OS 16. I am having trouble with a few apps and wonder if anyone can help. Banking Apps Finger prints log-in never works more than once. It does work on other apps, but not banking ones. I read something about deleting fingerprints folder in a certain folder but I don't think I could find it. British Airways Executive Club and some non-UK Covid proximity detection apps Will not open as it says my device is rooted. Can I un-root or hide that the phone is apparantly rooted?

I've been using my Pro1 and it's great. I decided to install Lineage and then Magisk and HideRoot and then managed to spoof the signature of a Pxel phone to pass the basic SafetyNet check. This was all good and I thought all my apps were working, banking, games etc. I then discovered that somehow Patient Access (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.patient.patientaccess&hl=en) is detecting root even though I have it hiding root and pass SafetyNet So I have a couple of questions based on the above: I don't really NEED root.
