  1. So, we add to $PATH, as our bug report system and most debugging relies on it being installed -- no point in expecting it to be in local dir/explicitly called by path each time. I'll make sure to do end-to-end tests of the install instructions and get the wiki up to par as needed - I work on Lineage's Wiki too pretty frequently. Also OT: Am the guy TDM is talking about above. Stoked to help out with the device.

  2. Just a quick follow up... F(x)tec Support sent my replacement screen out on Friday, I received it less than 24 hours later, replaced it as per their video instruction, and it's now working perfectly again! Only had one moment where I had the two side by side, and nearly forgot which was which... I hope you get your replacement soon @hka. For me it's top marks for F(x)tec's support, and also for the easy repairability of the Pro1. I lost my Sony Z5C for weeks for a repair under warranty, and had to send it straight back again because it hadn't been repaired pro

  3. Long story sort, my problem seems to be a software / SD Card handling issue and not hardware-related. A few days ago, I have noticed my phone lighted up its display a few minutes fter I have connected it to charger, but in the morning, it seemed okay, however, it wrote I have to give my passcode after reboot - hmm. Later, it also restarted after charger connection and it was not able to boot up for a few hours (Android tried it again and again, so it is not a cold boot.) Then the latest update came on the very same day - I have installed it late evening / early in the morning, the

  5. test19 is up. Changes: * Code cleanup for official submit to Lineage. * Add VoLTE props to fix VZW. Please verify everything works properly. FYI, this is my remaining TODO list before submission: * Verify WiFi and BT MAC addrs are set as in stock. * Regenerate vendor blobs from latest stock. * Fix poor kernel commits (fix stuff, fix more stuff). * Verify WiFi works on clean install. * Go over remaining oneplus specific stuff in rc-files, sepolicy, etc. Additionally, here is the updated proposal for the wiki pages: https://

  6. In Japan, sales have begun and samples are now available in stores. But I purchased it from the official website and it hasn't arrived for me yet. All I can do is eat pizza and drink beer and wait.

  9. Couple updates, especially for the developers out there... I'm working with one of the upper level Lineage guys on getting the device/kernel officially imported. He has made quite a few comments and suggestions for cleaning and improving the device tree. So the lineage-16.0 branch on my device tree is going to be rebased and rearranged quite a few times in the next couple days. I tagged test18 so it doesn't get lost. Said Lineage guy is actually interested in the Pro1 and I will probably send him a prototype unit. So that's even more development support. Which is g

  10. For the average user the "Minimal adb and fastboot" installer looks like the way to go. It unpacks adb and fastboot to a specified directory and puts an icon into the start menu that launches a cmd shell in the proper directory.

  11. A tiny bit of stick splitting. You got the full blown install and using guide for the ADB, and this is fine, but for the user just wanting to Install LineageOS, less will do it. They do not need to fiddle with the path, as long as they do the commands from the subdir the tree in the zip was unfolded to. So a more minimal (and thus less scary) version of the guide could be used for Install. That is just a link to the download, and then a few words on unfolding and running the commands from that folder, perhaps adding a sample path to the examples for the recovery and sideload flashes

  15. @SteffenWi that install page is apparently not correct. I'll look to see if there is a better one available. I did not write the page, it is a template that is linked in the wiki code. There are several different ones to choose from. @Wheeljack I'm hoping that I can get an official TWRP working soon. If not, I can switch out the TWRP stuff for Lineage Recovery stuff.

  16. @Erik Any chance you guys could increase attachment size from 2MB to at least 5MB so that we could post here full size pictures?

  17. If we're talking about a dream os for me ... it would be a Windows Mobile/Windows Phone. Which ever you wanna call it these days. It'll bring me right back to the days of my HTC Touch Pro. I MISS WINDOWS MOBILE 6.5 😭

  23. I have not completely backed out the double-tap-to-wake (dt2w) changes from stock. That could be what you are seeing. I'll try to get that done for the next build.

  24. I was waiting for my pro1> six months. Fed by promises, I canceled the order. (which I will stick with you, because you support the wrong manufacturer). It took me 6 days to attach the keyboard to the phone: select the base for the keyboard, build a schematic, write 2 huge programs, make corrections to the kernel code. What has fxtec been doing for years? Shame. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1XQ5Hv0sZo

  25. Thanks Erik. Appreciate being told something at least. Bulging under the keyboard. Potentially the battery, but I didn't take it apart and fxtec haven't told me anything. They've had my device for about four months, so that should give a decent estimate for how long these things take.

  26. Frankly, I just want smoothly operating Android, which Lineage is fast becoming. I've used Android for 10 years and have assembled a fine set of Apps that do what I want in pretty much the way I want them to do it, allowing me great productivity, especially with a physical keyboard.
