I hold it like this, resting the index fingers on the ends of the support plate people with even smaller hand can shift this as much as needed to reach across the keyboard. Here an extreme adjustment, where I can reach almost the entire keyboard from both sides.

I think it would require at the least one miracle for Clove to get it at Feb 17th.... The production of the next batch are very unlikely to start before the 10th, and it also has to be transported... So the chance of hem getting it before your order would be delivered is fairly minimal. IMHO

I posted this idea already in another thread, and yes it works surprisingly well. Of course it needs to be for a thinner device and with no holes, but what is worse is that it would be conflicting with the lip of a shell grabbing the lower part. I think we would need some clever stuff where one part grabs the ends, and the other the long edges.

Either i do not get it at all, or we are simply using different words due to different reference frames (relative to landscape/portrait). By the "bottom" I meant seen as portrait, that is where the USB is. But if you by "bottom" means the long edge where the spacebar is, We of course are miscommunicating. 😄 (folded in the other fingers to simplify image)

Please read above, Pinging the ACCESS POINT from Termux gives the same about 20ms results So it does not matter what the connection-type is on the other side of the access point, it could only add to it.

Just for compare, if I let Termux ping the Pro1 itself, it gets fast results, so it is not a delay from Termux reaching out to the local interface.

Yup, fiber, but above I'm pinging the WiFi access point on the inside. So the fiber is not in play, pure Wifi. I think it is the other way round, Termux emulation or communiction with the phone adds a delay. From within firefox Fast.com show similar results as speedtest prg

You can clear the cache of the individual apps, under Settings, Apps.

I see. I have used one for sat-nav for hours, and that is somewhat evil. So does unfortunately sound like it is something with your unit, and not just a software-fix away. 😥

Just a thought to narrow the bug down. Is it only the combination of VLC and SMB? Have you tried loading the video onto the phone and do the same locally? Have you tried with another videoplayer? Have you tried with something on a UNC path? Just to narrow it down, and easier for others to see if we see the same bug or you got a faulty device.

Use a slow charger. Either an old one, a charger with both a slow and quick charge ports, or usb port on a PC, or any other equipment with a low power output. I would suggest to stay at 5W and under (Many old chargers offers 5V 1A, and thus 5W). The problem is that the worst condition for a battery is charging heated.
