@WaxberryCan we have perks to order AZERTY mats or even better keyboard replacement kits? I already own two Pro1s one of them has a dodgy keyboard mats I wish I could replace without bothering your support and service team.

Crap I just missed that very early bird pricing. Too bad cause they have AZERTY layout. Other pricing is not as tempting and I'm not crazy about that blue.

One thing I would like to see improved on the Pro1 is the screen frame assembly from one made of plastic to one made of metal alloy. Maybe that would help with that infamous rattle too.

It's just marketing. They are saying buy early or you will pass on a great opportunity. Depending of how many of those early IGG perks they put up for sell they may or may not be gone within that 10mn timeframe. If it's a gold plated Pro1 they can have my money 🤣 Joking aside I'll probably pass on this one for financial reasons unless maybe if they have an AZERTY variant 😀

I thought that was pretty obvious. So true, quality need to improve. That I don't get, mine is so stable on stock and can run months without a reboot. I don't do much video recording, technically I don't think any smartphone does any filming 🤣 However mic has either software or hardware issues as people often complain they can't ear me well in speakerphone modes notably over facebook messenger. I'm just happy it has a keyboard at all 😉

Rest assured that's not happening anytime soon. Operating Systems today are designed around HID. Human Interface Device is the protocol enabling pretty much any kind of input devices regardless of the hardware interface I2C, USB, BT. Keyboards are just one of them. That's not to say keyboard support won't deteriorate further but it is very unlikely to ever be dropped altogether.

Though it does not seem to be so good at managing screen real estate in landscape. It shows both status bar and tool bar thus wasting at least one 5th of screen real estate. I could not find settings to adjust that.

Could be a mechanical or electric fault. I've had something similar on a Pro1 that I since got replaced.

yes that's what it is, except that it when it does not do anything with esc which is the case most of the time it should tell it and the fallback would work. Fx Qwerty back with alt+left works.

Odd they must have been breaking this recently, try Fulguris instead.
