Sadly you are not the only one having quality issues and support has been very inconsistent from what I can tell. From the two devices I own one was broken on arrival much like yours and the other within 6 months of use. I'm guessing they have had a lot of support requests since they just shipped a relatively large batch of devices. See if @Erik can help you somehow.

Not doable. Your best bet would be to look at virtual keyboards. Swift Key for instance can optionally do auto-capitalization.

So Fx Service does exactly that but it is triggered by either case close or keyboard close events. Adding that feature with a timeout should be straight forward.

I wished it would switch to speaker phone while opening the keyboard during a call. Phone app landscape mode support is also missing while on a call. I'm pretty sure E7 would do that too.

That could be added to Fx Service I guess. Though if you set your display sleep timeout to like 10mn and use a smart case with Fx Service you already have some similar behaviour.

First time on the road with my Pro1. Woke up at five this morning. Spent more than 6 hours on trains going to Paris from Germany. At 10 in the evening battery was still at 60%. Tips: Keep battery saving mode on at all times. Turn off auto-sync.

Which one did you get P20 Pro or P30 Pro? Regardless, the TPU case from Snakehive is really poor quality indeed. I've since replaced mines with that one using that glue. Even on high quality TPU case making a cutout for the camera button can compromise stability so you may want to give up on your camera button.

So what's wrong with the layouts provided by FinQwerty? Is it the missing Fx and Alt layers? I could do a QWERTZ - FI layout if you want. Should I take a look at the FinQwerty variant? LATER: I see you actually already provided what you are looking for:

Yes those ones were taken over from the qwerty variant and may need reviewing for qwertz DE. Which is your native language? Why did you get a qwertz then?

Yes that's how it was done in FinQwerty I'm not sure if it makes sense though, I can't think of any instance of upper case ß in german.

Can I get a picture of a production QWERTZ to make sure this was not changed since? Currently busy doing the mapping and I would hate to have to do it twice.
