Actually my 6 weeks theory is not based on any facts. That July batch was the one and only batch since Covid-19 lockdown outside of a very small shipments of QWERTZ devices like in May maybe. So far there has been only two significant Pro1 shipments: January 2020 July/August 2020

Last batch was at the end of July and they were busy shipping that one over weeks until the end of August.

My money is on a common electrical defect on those displays.

My issue was around that same line too.

So we were probably in that same January batch then. Mine started acting up after 6 months yours after 8 months or so.

Indeed it looks like the greenish tint it was taking in very low brightness using Fx Service is mostly gone.

I really like that update. It shows they are indeed paying attention to community feedback. I was never affected by 1 & 2 but I'm most happy about 3, the screen brightness issue, even though I'll keep using Fx Service overlay filter it still brings something, somehow the screen looks better at low brightness in low light. Moreover 4, the keyboard backlight not coming back online after locking the screen while keyboard is open is also very much appreciated. Hats off FxTec 🎩

That's the same as mine. Maybe you have a hardware issue.

Make sure you installed every OTA firmware upgrade. If the update app is not working anymore just reset it's data from the settings.

I doubt they will ever have stocks available. They are not ramping up production. They only ship a limited batch of devices every 6 weeks or so.

Nope, then again I have not been chasing them. Just posting here from time to time. I'm so glad I have one Pro1 working, used as my daily driver while waiting for the other one to get fixed. I've not been on the forums so much lately but it looks like shipping was kind of suspended again. Seems they are getting a new batch of devices every 6 weeks or so. Mines are the ones without frame.

I got mines from eBay. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by frame. What you need it the whole glass including the holes for camera, earpiece, LED and other sensor.

Thanks I just tried it, unfortunately landscape mode is just a stretch of your portait configuration and as such is ugly and not convenient.

That's the infamous rattle. For many of us that's how it is. Remove the stickers protecting the screws at the back of the screen and replace them with 2mm thick squishy ones that should help a lot. See: I actually have all 5 screws on the edge fitted with 2mm squishy pads. The one in the middle are just 1mm solid rubber but I wonder if having the 2mm there too would be even better.

Try changing only one APN property then save then back and do the same for the next APN properties.

I've had a similar issue back in January the first time I was setting up APNs. I can't recall exactly what I did but I got it working in the end. The UI is a bit weird and if you use it "wrong" it won't save APN changes.

It has not been tested on that OS and is most likely not working. Stock is using key events to broadcast keyboard status change instead of sensors. I'm assuming @tdm fixed that in LOS which is definitely the way to go but that's also breaking compatibility with apps developed for stocks. If ever those changes make it to Stock I will adjust Fx Service to work with them which could make it work for LOS. I'm hoping to get back my second Pro1 at some point in which case I could possibly try use LOS and port Fx Service. Don't hold your breath though.

I know how you feel mate. I've had various health issues myself for over 2 years now and Pro1 helped me a lot one my way to recovery. Hope you get yours fixed soon but to be honest it's probably going to take 3 months. Just hang in there.
