So I guess what you would need is easy access to: Settings > System > Languages & input > Physical keyboard > Show virtual keyboard. I could possibly add a Quick Settings Tile for it. I could also add an option to turn it on when in portrait and turn it off when in landscape so that you would hardly ever notice your issue anymore. Sounds like a simple enough fix but I can't tell if and when I will get around implementing that feature. It took them 10 weeks to replace mine. I know it is annoying though taking advantage of the warranty before it expires is probably s

@Waxberry @Erik I eventually managed to find time to report firmware issues I'm having as a user and a developer. Hopefully you guys at FxTec can find the resources to tackle some of them.

I'm guessing this was the case cause I must have tried to disable Settings > Slider Landscape orientation lock .

It's great actually with some annoying bugs most of which can thankfully be worked around using various apps. I'll just name Fx Service for instance, my own creation 😉 The one thing I have not find a workaround for is the too loud in-call handset speaker volume.

I noticed the notification LED colour differs depending of the kind of notifications or from which app they are coming from. For instance: Usually from SMS and FB Messenger: green LiveScore: blue Microsoft Teams: white Can we influence the notification LED colour somehow?

Seems highly unlikely Fx Service would be directly responsible for unwanted keyboard input. However turning on Auto-Sync manually or through Fx Service Auto-Sync scheduler feature could somehow have side effects. Assuming that by "system actualization" you mean auto-sync that could be an explanation depending of the apps you have installed I guess. Maybe CPU usage goes too high when auto-sync is just enabled creating a lag in the keyboard driver causing your issues, just guess work. You mean Fx Service Auto-Sync scheduler? What was wrong with it? Was it a qwertz? Maybe they don't have qwertz replacement at this time. You should create your own thread so that your specific case can be discussed in the hope it gains visibility and gets sorted by FxTec.

Don't let that stop you. If you want a keyboard phone, have deep enough pockets, enough patience and another spare smart phone then you should order a Pro1.

This is just me stating the obvious: FxTec has room to improve as far as hardware quality goes. My first Pro1: Screen rattle. Dead touch screen digitiser after 6 months. My second Pro1: Keyboard electrical problem rendering it unusable, DOA. My third Pro1, replacement for the second one after about 10 weeks wait: Scratches around the SIM tray, like it was forced opened somehow. Same issue on a new phone. Disabling landscape orientation lock is indeed badly broken.

Just published release v0.9.8 adding more screen rotation options. @c3cf If you are still interested in getting Fx Service working better on LOS you should be able to use the newly added debug option to show keyboard status change and tell me if it works on LOS. If it does I should be able to get some of the missing functionalities working in the next release.
