Skynet Worldwide Express is only used for shipments to one country - Russia. They have the ability to pass packages to established Russian couriers such as Pony Express and others. This ensures our orders arrive in Russia, which is a known destination with customs and courier complications. For the rest of the globe, we are using either DHL, UPS, FedEx, DPD or Royal Mail.

I had so much fun making game grippers ~10years ago. I'd be open to making some for the pro1. One problem is I live in the USA and this seems to be primarily an EU phone. I'd probably need to track down my old EU partner or even better if fxtec would distribute them. I tried connecting with those guys on LinkedIn about the pro1 but no reply. For a little history, the game gripper came before we had decent Bluetooth game pads. Once they stopped making high end phones with slide out keyboards the game gripper stopped selling and I went back to work. -Hyrum

Hi everyone, Just a little heads up about tomorrow, the 24th of October. We'll be taking the forum down for a couple of hours after 1 pm UK time to migrate everything over to our new forum. We expect a few issues here and there - avatars will be missing, we'll have to manually add a few things such as the "thanks" count. Besides a few expected complications with the migration, this will be an overall great improvement for spam control - no more manual approval, performance improvements, user timelines, better formatting, etc.

That €650,- was a pre-order price, and perhaps some people are still on that one. But for regular orders, it's more expensive. We were warned about this in advance...

I can think of a couple reasons. The game gripper is cheap and rugged, don't have to be careful with it in your backpack or jacket pocket, it doesn't need batteries or charging, etc. Also, when you're playing in mobile environment, you can still hold onto your phone, dont have to find somewhere to put it so you can hold a bluetooth controller.

It already looks and feels way better than the old forum. Thanks for keeping us up to date Erik 🙂

I think you are allowed to report your own post, so you could do that and write something like "Please delete" in the optional reasoning box.

Its not that it's isn't always visible as much as it really blends into the background when you're not mousing over it. It could just be that I sit pretty low compared to my monitors. I would agree that it could do with being a bit darker when inactive, though.

I even tried plugging the image into google's image search. No hits on that.

I scanned that code and it just gave me back the number at the bottom, IIDL120152725. I couldn't find the other number anywhere either. And I searched for batteries matching 3150mAh and 3.85V, on the chinese wholesale sites and couldn't find anything either. 😩

Please change it from https://community.fxtec.com/settings/. This seems to have been an issue with the previous forum as well - revealing usernames. This one gives you an option to change the revealed name. The previous forum was just hiding the old spammy posts, this one doesn't allow them in the first place. We'll clear them all shortly 🙂

I may need some time to get used to the new design, it feels a bit flashy.. But I believe I'll be able to accept it sooner or later. Almost anything seems acceptable if the technical flaws of the predecessor can be left behind. Thumbs up for FXtec from me too!

On the aesthetics there are a LOT of white, so we need to scroll like crazy to read stuff. I would have preferred it quite a bit more compact on a PC monitor. So a setting for reduced waste space would be nice. Even on a 43" 4Kmonitor I still can only see about TEN lines of user comments... (see below) In a normal FHD window, there are typically room for four small comments.

I had no idea what you were talking about until I noticed if you type a reply, go away and come back to the thread your half typed reply is still there. A cancel button or simply not persisting those posts would be nice indeed.

The option to change it suddenly appeared, and I am once again myself :). If anyone cares, click username top right -> Account settings -> Display Name -> Change.

One thing: For a lot of people the username has changed to the first part of the mail address. This is not to bad for me but it displays some peoples real names. This must be fixed asap!

I sure hope for the best case where it will be a smashing success and there will be a Pro2 in say two years, so service is unlikely to be ever needed. But in a more pessimistic scenario, we have no idea if there will be a version two of the keyboard phone, so it may have to last ten years, until a new startup make a new keyboard phone… And in the super pessimistic scenario they will close up the business in say a few years so there will be no places to do authorised service, and if so it really matters how easy it is to repair.

Well even though this of course is a 'risk' - at the least in theory, I will MUCH rather have these stickers and high repairability, than a device that is hard to service. Remember: Function is key... Also note that these stickers are inside a 'hole', so it is not that things easily can catch an edge of the stickers and tear them off... And even if one should be lost, then I'm pretty sure that just about anyone would be able to get any black sticker, and cut a suitable pair... Personally I would go for the stickers used for write protect control of the old floppy disks, that I still got arou

Over the past few weeks I've contacted a variety of phone wrap/skin companies asking about making something for the Pro1. I got a lot of kindly worded no's until I contacted EasySkinz. They're a UK based company I believe and they took a look at the Pro1, liked it, and contacted the F(x)Tec team for details and measurements. The F(x)Tec team confirmed today that EasySkinz contacted them so my fingers are crossed and hopefully there will be a skin/wrap option for the Pro1 soon since case options will likely be limited.
