  1. So I got the holder, as you can see the buttons are fine with this one, you may need to be careful with the camera button though. You can even use the fingerprint unlock. So 9-13mm might still be a bit too much. I am going with it, as the room is only minimal I might fill the edges with some rubber feet I have lying around. But @Rob. S. yours might fit exactly.

  2. It happens to me randomly as well. Usually I hit home button once to get to home screen and another Alt+Tab already works then.

  3. I'm wondering if we can implement the physical keyboard settings for stuff like auto caps, etc. Changing these settings for virtual keyboard (aosp or gboard) don't have affect on phyiscal keyboard. Here's a screenshot from PQ stock ICS of the setting I'm referring too... edit: and here it is on CM11 (this phone's battery was dead when I was checking this yesterday; I have 3 of em!) And as Cornholio mentions in the next post, it was still there all the way thru Lineage 14.1 when PQ got its final LOS build last february.

  5. For some reason my call volume is too high. Even though I have it set to zero in settings I can still hear the caller, even when I take the phone away from my ear. Loudspeaker is definitely off. At the setting in the screenshot it's almost unbearable. I'm sure I haven't overlooked anything in settings. Anyone else experienced this and how did you tackle it? Thankees😁

  7. My GUESS would be that the flicker could be a change to an app that somehow does no go to foreground and you are thrown back. What happens if you do NOT release the ALT? That should let you navigate the tasks-switcher with Tab or shift+Tab, until selecting on release.

  8. I use it, but would not characterise it as "much", no.

  9. Just released v0.8.0. Now it's not just useful it looks good too 😉

  10. Never seen that. Is it related to the apps active on the list? Does touch app/switching work when you see it?

  11. Trying to understand the problem in more detail. You can use the phone if the keyboard is open? In other words, with the keyboard open, the screen turns on and the screen responds to touch input? With the keyboard closed, the screen only turns on when you get a notification, and then the screen responds to touch input? I've had some similar behavior, but not identical, on phones in the past, when the cable connecting the bottom part of the phone to the screen was damaged. Maybe in your Pro1, this has become disconnected partly at one end or the other, or there is something damaged

  12. So you probably got a new phone but they obviously can't guarantee they would always do that 😄

  13. What happened to the screen? If you are doing the replacement soon, if you end up taking the bottom half apart, pictures of the parts mentioned several posts ago would be great. Good luck with the repair. If you are able to document the process, that would be very helpful too.

  14. I'll be DIYing my screen repair. If you got stickers to spare I definitely need a set. Let me know if it's ok and I'll DM you my address.

  15. I'm running the suspended update and I did not notice any improvement. Anything above minimal volume is unusable.

  16. This sounds wise, not to take it apart before really needed, while it is so hard to get a new one, or spare parts, should you accidentally damage something else while changing.

  17. What I remember always reading is that it's modular in the sense of being on a separate board which can be swapped if the USB port really breaks. I'm not exactly sure what kind of modular USB port they should've used. I guess I can imagine one, but they need to be able to source that stuff from somewhere.

  18. I am not sure If I am going to replace my screen right away. Currently, everything is working normally and the crack is only a visual issue (for now). I can live with it. However, since the screen is damaged it can break to non-functional more easily anytime. So I need a spare part for backup. I will take pictures of the components when I am going to change the screen. I just don't know when that will happen.

  19. I think we would be extremely lucky if any of those are standard parts. But we can hope of course. I believe we do have a close up of the small pcb with the USB, but I might remember wrong. ADD: We do got a fairly good image in the FCC doc, "photo 16" https://fccid.io/2AUCLQX1000/Internal-Photos/internal-Photos-4458316 , and the "T5_Main" on one connector, indicates it is custom) Similar goes for the 3.5mm pcb

  20. @FlyingAntero, since you will be taking your phone part way apart anyway, which I believe voids the warranty, if you have a chance to take photos of both sides of the battery, that would be very helpful in possibly finding a source online where we can get them. I realize you are replacing the screen, and might not need to open the bottom, but I'm just mentioning it since you will be doing some surgery anyway. Also, close up pictures of the flex cable, flex cable connectors and USB port would all be valuable, as those are parts we might want to replace over time and currently don't know w

  21. Oh dear, I just broke the screen of my Pro¹. I was sitting on the floor and the phone slipped from my pocket. It was only 10 cm drop! Everything still works but there is one crack across the glass. I just ordered replacement screen but I will also need those stickers. @Serolfic can you order some stickers for me?

  22. Website seems to be broken now -- could you take a look? (Have you considered mirroring somewhere, e.g. github or something?)

  23. When the device is powered off, you press the power button for a few seconds to turn it on. There is no vibration, no led, nothing on the screen to show that it acknowledged the button press to power on. After say 30 seconds, I expect that it should have booted up. I have to do one of the following to get the display working: - press the power button 1-3 times to get the display up; I noticed last night while I was attempting this that the first time seemed to always make that "turn off click sound" like it thinks the screen is active already and you are hitting power to turn it off; t

  24. So I finally attempted the suggestion I got from fxtec support (factory reset from the normal settings app) and then the suggestions mentioned here to totally reflash the device. it took a while to figure out just how to do that since my bootloader was in the locked state. Anyway my original issue still persists. I don't have a clue what to do here.
