Exactly this just happened to me. I'm so grateful a search for "battery drain" pulled up this post. I'm not very technical and probably would hav never discovered Android Auto was the culprit. I still would like to see a rotate-in-place method. I realize that works well for icons and symmetrical widgets, but not for widgets that aren't circle/square, but there's compromises with every option and that doesn't affect me as I don't use any such widgets anyway 😉 For the two-halves approach, i can imagine a kinda compromise of what I said above, perhaps in landscape, allow one center widget (thus on both halves). When rotated back to portrait, that widget gets rotated in place so it's still centered.

...using flash led as lamp for long time is not good idea. You can simple smash led or meltdown led mounting....if is led not good cooled

I have the same issue on stock using GCam Mod for example, so definitively there is something similar happening regarding this also under stock.

Yes, and also it works pretty well using GCam mods. So, for me it is perfectly good and I feel it has high quality and also good focus can be acheieved. Edit: I also agree this price was extremely good for this phone. 🙂

Thanks for the report. So it's not a regression. There are settings for camera angle correction. I'll play around with them.

I have the same issue on drivers'check app in stock. the camera app rotate also 180 degress. it is a huge problem to capture the driver license.

Yes I turn on this feature. It's good but if I can setup the "long press" can be great, so be able to decide the long the press is (between 100ms to ***ms).. Cornholio notice that the LED can heat up and he's right. The app used on my Samsung, super bright LED, have a protection that if I using it for too long time, shut the phone for protection. I have to disagree. I am service technician for more than 15 years...and i have seen in my work many molten covers or burned leds. Now it's not so frequent, but it's happening.

I think the optimal would be if we could arrange things independently for the two directions BUT when adding a new item in one direction it also tries as best it can to add it in the other, but allows us to rearrange independently and even to remove for one direction only. The automatic system could then have different 'modes' like the 'two-half' approach, 'keep centre and corners', 'start filling bottom up' and what ever other algoritms that can be thought up.

I doubt it. I think this happens when it fails to mount /data. And that likely happens before adb is working. Also remember, if this happens again, you should be able to switch back to the working slot in fastboot.

I have tried many and unfortunately they all behave similarly - fine picture quality with poor audio. The noise reduction is seemingly only set for voicecalls when the phone is next to your ear. Perhaps someone can correct me but I assume noise reduction would behave differently or switch to different settings when on speakerphone or any other form of mic use. For the time being the phone is unable to record sounds in an ambient setting, and keeps switching between nearby/further sounds, resulting in random clicks, silence, faint and intermittent sounds. Don't know why ota would fail like that but you can always sideload to fix it. The reason adb goes to 47% and stops is because Google expects about 210% data transfer over usb. Once to verify signature, once to install, plus some overhead. So the percent you see is scaled. But lineage recovery caches data and only transfers 100% exactly. So it gets to 47% and then stops while the ota is installed. Lineage adb shows a nice little ASCII spinner to let you know it's alive.

Tested on my balcony, clear sky (LOS Nightly): a cold fix is obtained in 10 - 12 seconds (AGPS). Hot fix: less than 5 seconds. Accuracy varies between 5 and about 20 m. There seems to be satellites on (almost) all sides.

Yup, it is still there, and works like a charm. And it is easy to wipe clean.

There is certainly a hardware issue with my device. After long time of usage I noticed spontaneous key events for keys that I didn't even touch. Looks like the keyboard is short-circuiting. I'd send it back for warranty, but since people have waited 7 months for the replacement, I'm a little afraid to send it back for warranty until they finish the pre-orders. Btw. I also have issues with the USB-C port disconnecting while moving the cable slightly and suspicions of hardware issues with the camera sensor (remaining glue or other dirt in the camera unit)

I'm quoting myself to post an update on this... It's now been 124 days or 4 months since I last heard from fxtec. I have sent in my fxtec phone 217 days or 7 months ago. It's a shame.
