To update from a test build to a signed official nightly, you first have to flash the boot image (in this case the one dated 20200914). Then you use this new official and signed recovery to sideload the signed nightly.

Yes and no. 9 months ago, COVID was hitting China and factories closed down in Feb. It's been a tough year. It doesn't necessarily translate to that long a wait if ordered now.

I had problems on stock at first but got used to it. I've swapped to lineage now and enabled the in-built support and no issues at all. The only thing I do get an issue with is the settings cog in landscape mode it goes into the area which its turned off but ofc I just swap to portrait and access its not like I'm in settings all the time!

I've also only used MtG so far.

I used the chat on the Verizon website and said "Hey, I have a new phone I'm trying to use and having difficulty sending/receiving SMS/MMS. I spoke with a Sr. Verizon Tech online and they told me to ask you to enable "CDMA-LESS" on my account." They quickly agreed and within 30 seconds I had SMS rolling in that wasn't received before. Hopefully that clears it up a bit. I know it sounds rather nebulous but that's the approach I took. Happy to answer any more questions if you have them.

Just a heads up to everyone on here. I haven't been using my Pro1 but I'm on Verizon and faced many of the same issues you've all brought up in this thread. Recently I picked up a Surface Duo and was having the same issues (outbound text works, inbound doesn't, etc), and a Verizon tech had us chat in and request "CDMA-LESS" activated on our accounts. This took me 5 minutes and suddenly everything started working perfectly. I moved my SIM to my Pro1 today to see if it improved things and it appears I'm sending/receiving SMS/MMS and all that without any special modifications. Just an

It's a minor nuisance. The number row of the physical keyboard is very tight to the screen, really the one substantial criticism I have of it. With the keyboard closed, keeping your fingers away from the screen require a precarious basketball-palming grip on the frictionless device, which can be harrowing. I despise curved screens anyway, but so far, have managed to live with it without feeling the need to download a solution.

I went back to stock and have zero ghosting/hiccups. Tdm will compile a LoS with stock keyboard driver to troubleshoot. I type a lot, don't like calling people 😌. Anyway, two Pro1 users on stock without keyboard issues. Two LoS users who experience nuisances... So yeah, it's definetily something in LoS. By the way, users with ghosting and other nuisances, do you flash MtG or OG? I have only tried MtG.

It's annoying but not the end of the world. Use EdgeNull if you like stock. LineageOS has it built in like Eske said.

I think this issue is very subjective, it does not really happen for me ever since i got a bit used to the phone. For others luckily there is software workarounds :).
