Same here, does not exist, and requires higher privileges to create. But could make sense that it had a default value, and if the fie is present it reacted on it.

Yes really odd. Only tried out the most basic of the launcher, not open&close. For some reason F(x)tec have chosen the 'keys' to be sent at close&open as F5 & F6, so at first I thought if total Launcher reacts to those, but that is NOT it. If I fake the keys by one of these adb shell input keyevent 135 adb shell input keyevent 136 The bug does not follow. So the slide open/close does more than just sending those - that was new to me.... Interesting... If SwiftKey is installed it interferes.... (If you stop SwiftKey temporarily in Apps, the short cuts are back. But you will need to set the keyboard again, as it falls back to Gboard - if not disabled)

Maybe we should have a thread over in the new "How Tos" group, on how to take best care of the Pro1. One could copy the main stuff and then link to the existing threads perhaps? It could be on the battery, on the screen protector (I think there is a rather recent thread advising how to apply without bubbles), perhaps cases, for those into that stuff. The thread could also be expanded to a "How to get the most out of your Pro1" or similar, that also pointed to (IMHO vital) stuff lake F

This is the character "1" (31h) that is saved in the file, not the bit 01h, not sure what "echoing 1" means in the context.
