Ok, so at the least we now know that it is not that it can see both, and preferred LTE as stronger. First of I would try with a new SIM in the Pro1. You could borrow from 'anyone', to eliimnate that simple possibility. If none can do 2G/3G I think you should contact support and hear what they suggest. And you could suggest them to open and have a look.

It could be that an antenna is inactive somehow, perhaps a plug not inserted, or a cable broken? You can explicitly limit the bands you will allow it to use. e.g. by: Settings â–º Network and Internet â–º Mobil Network â–º Preferred network type â–º and then select a suitable one (without LTE) to test.

I was unaware. Looking at the very round number reached, I guess they just bumped the 100 to 150 -

Yeah, has been considering this, but was not quite sure which version of lineage this was all about..... Test 16, released 16, released 17 ... ? -

The thing this phone does the worst is well working as a phone... Call quality is not optimal, to put it kindly. Luckily (for me) the function I most seldom use my phone for is calls(!), but would like to see it improved soon!! Though It does work fine for calls using a headset (IMHO). -

Though it technically could be possible, it seems that Windows 10 is on the beefy side of what we can get from a processor like this, see e.g. this. What is you experience using the Miix? This was their slightly hard wording: I stroke out part of this, as just a month ago MS announced a preview of the support of emulation for x64 apps too, so that should be fixed 'soon' 🙂 So though it for some usage could work well, the big question is if a port would be worth the effort, perhaps benefiting a small group only? But that said I would certainly like to at the least try it if it w

Unfortunately they seem not to able to get them produced as fast as they can sell them. So I would not expect shipping of fresh orders before March.

How intrusive are the curved screen accidental presses?

Reviving an old thread, just noticed this unscientific poll. Where a substantial majority prefer flat displays. -
I'm not sure it is as simple as that,.. I believe that a part of what carriers get paid is a fee to handle this custom stuff, so if they decide to deliver something without proper paperwork, and get caught, they will most likely get a heavy fine, and/or loose a licence to operate.

Yeah pretty crazy to expect that you should have guessed what impact later legislation would require of you to have done. But that is Brexit legislation for you... A total mess... 😰 At first glance it looks like UPS is following the crazed rules. First of I'm pretty sure you expected to see your phone(s) back long before the Brexit would take effect. So even if we had known the new legislation I for one would most likely not have done the today needed paperwork. 😓 But it seems there is some exceptions if you can prove that you shipped it before Brexit, as they request prove of that. An

At least it was as simple as that before Brexit. The direct translation of the Danish (official) text goes like this On "Outward processing", see this. that among other things have this clause ....super easy for the consumer..... hmm..... 🤯

Personally I will try to avoid buying anything above the €10 (including shiping) trifles limit from the UK if alternatives exists. I even switched using ebay from .co.uk to .ie edit Just found this (in Danish), and though there are two different trifle limits (€10 and £150) it is generally with so many caveats and small prints, that it for an EU consumer has gone from "Why would I not want to buy from Britain?" to "Why on earth would I want to buy from Britain?".... So I guess we are going to see a lot of UK web-shops move their base to (Northern?) Ireland.
-
AFAIK this legal obligation only goes if the vendor acknowledges that something was wrong, and fixed (or replaced) the unit. ...And who knows where we stand with that sort of fineprint after Brexiit?? My GUESS would be that it still holds for buys from before the Brexit, but I could be wrong. They MIGHT now just hold to any address in the UK of our choice....

Pro1-X just arrived today, what a beautiful device.

No doubt about that, but not having a juridical degree I would certainly not be sure that my personal interpretation holds legally. "In good faith" will hold morally but it is less likely to be enough in a court case. -

If someone has an EULA that does not match your local legislation, I suggest that you before accepting the EULA contact them and point this out so they can adjust it, or at the least give you something in writing where they accept it. Just doing our own personal opinionated adjustment to what the EULA states is not the best way to go, and could back fire if it does not hold legally. -

Suggesting anything that is illegal is clearly outside what is acceptable in here, I hid you comment, so you will have to make it again without that. -

I fell in the same 'pit' trying out SFOS. I do not really understand why Sailfish only sell this option to their explicitly supported devices. Say sell it 'as is' unsupported. -

In all fairness, it is available in the updates stamped "Jan 11, 2021 • 2:58PM" ....So if we should be kind, we could say they just forgot to adjust the column header from "initial" to "preliminary"... 😇 -
