BUT...as i say on other topic...Best (for me) quality kb phone was Droid1 (milestone)...then was D2/D2G/milestone2...not bad but too plastic and fragile....BUT bestest was DROID3 !!! coool design, good 5Row keyboard and metal frame!!!! Droid 4 was not bad but small display compare its size...and pentile display

D4 have same problems with flex cable...but little not good difference...D4 have flex soldered and glued directly into display....photon have flex cable in connector BUT...now is photon too old and os not possible to buy it really brand new 😄

oki ...this is maybe solution...maybe glue sliding together 😄

i have world oldest simmodded photon of the world...with second flex cable...it is extra "vintage" 😄

i still...but my photon flex cable wont wait 😞

when / if will be my fx delivered , then i will make some comparision pictures with 9000,9210 ...thats will be cool 🙂 EDIT...and maybe with SE mini PRO 😄

WAU dimensions - height is same!!! 😄 In my mind is 91/92 communicator really big phone...problem was that communicator was really thick

D4 is really good phone - one of the best keyboard...i am still on photon (last really no google/lenorola) with same keyboad...but littlebit better hw and display 🙂

is not possible to good separe curved glass from display and then quality glue it back without any problems , bubbles and defects. ....AND for any service technician it this very hard and long time work. Display self is cheap (approx 50-70USD) if you search for original BOE display for elefone u pro....just check part numbers

yesss...i mean that this "layout" is still settable on los 🙂

...i mean that it is problem of all amoled displays...default color is black - led(in pixel) is off...and really dark grey is problem.it is step between led on and off. On tft, retina etc displays is never visible black due technology...because under these displays is always powered on backlight foil and all is "grey". soo if you want really black you need amoled...but not too good greyscale....if you want approx good grayscale then you must buy tft,stn,retina etc phone. AND i am not sure...fx use pentile matrix RGBW?

BTW...about softkeys (navkeys) on bottom...what i want is classic layout as on all droid phones - menu-home(recent)-back-search...this is the best layout for me

....i have question about ∆∆∆...you say that is visible how is display glued. Can you post some photos how it looks? ...i am little scared if it really looks too cheap 😞

hmmm, i mean that it is same problem as on my old project - MAME arcade cabinet...usb connected driver for keys.i was not able to press 3+ buttons suddenly 😞 ...and it is not fw/sw fixable...it will be needed better keyboard driver ic. I will test it tomorrow on my xt897. BUT...for test you can play GTAIII/vice city on keyboard (not san andreas) ?...on photon i was able to press 3 buttons on same time. EDIT you can find on gugl online keybord testers....

oh...test to run GTA1 and GTA London if is it playable on keyboard 🙂
