I completely agree. The communication thought .... What I mean is, it feels strange, that they just founded the next keyboard phone company (the apple thing). I do know, that this has reasons, but the feeling is bad. An open explanation would help. However, I don't hold any grudge with everything regarding the pro1x. It was an IGG... money spent on IGG is paid for a dream, it is pure luck if it comes true.

it is weird. It took a while for me to get used to it. Still weird and not the best solution. The one thing you don't want to do in the dark is karate chopping your phone into the woods... But it is better than using that useless quickmenu which is becoming worse and worse. HTC had a solution where drawing an O on the locked screen activated the light, that was great.

It is not only a matter of not enforcing it, it highly doubt they could enforce it. Just because a company writes something in their TOS doesn't makes it law. I mean the only thing IGG could do is to delete their campaign, which would help no one expect maybe IGG. So the TOS line is worthless. Interesting, I am based in Switzerland and aren't reachable per call a lot of times. Also building up a Call takes up to 20 seconds at least sometimes. So it doesn't seem to be a pure US thing. I am pretty certain we use the EU frequencies. I will have a look into logging on android.

No, the battery can be removed and replaced. I have removed it like 3 times without any problems. However the battery connector is really thin so it could get damaged.

well that is an instant no buy here (not that I would have otherwise). But as you stated in your review, the phone lacks another row of keys, which would make it possible to save that kind of things easily. I think it is a bit strange, that unihertz still has the same flaws after so many models. The pro1 isn't perfect but it is not their 5th design, still they have tweaked the layout for the pro1x

contribution IDs do not directly match to the number of sold phones. There are also battery packs, support perks etc. I myself generated two contribution IDs without ordering a phone.

well the picture looks promising, the batch is surely bigger than the backlog of Pro1 orders. So at least in theory, you should be fine. The question is, if they will be able to prioritize these persons. It could even be, that all pro1x orders are this batch, which would be great. Note: I do not know exact numbers, but judged from the known numbers, this "educated guess" should hold up.

I doubt that. We do have keyboard cases for tablets for a reason. No matter how big the screen is, a keyboard is in another league!

After typing on a keyboard phone again for a while, I can just feel again how awkward touchscreens are to type. I do not type enough to get really fast but I do type on it! On the touchscreen I often wait until I am at a computer before I reply.
