  1. This was happening to me on the PinePhone with Phosh. I found instructions for editing the Phoc.ini file to change the default number. I would imagine there is probably some similar ini file for Droidian, but don't know.
  2. Lineage 19 allows you to set a default camera app for a long press of the camera button. Mine is assigned to open camera. The short press does nothing.
  3. We can try @Casey, but chances are, you would need to contact them.
  4. I think so, but none of us know. I would contact FxTec and ask them.
  5. No need to restore Stock Rom. I last time I sent mine in it was on AICP. They can reflash it if needed.
  6. Check the phone menu, which is found in android by typing *#*#4636#*#* on the phone keypad and then tapping phone 1. VoLTE toggles should be there. It's a question of are they greyed out or able to be set.
  7. Joke aside, if they authorize you to send it in, you are likely to get it back within a month, depending mostly on how many other repairs they have. They have spare parts right now. if needed, so they will fix quickly and return. The first time I needed a repair on my Pro1, it was a month including travel to and from London (from US). Second time, I knew I had to wait months for parts, but when parts were available, they had repairs done in 2 weeks.
  8. I don't mean to make it a big deal. Aside from it always being posted here, I check IGG regularly. FxTec has more important things to worry about.
  9. Nope, not in spam and email address hasn't changed. And I know we're not the only ones. 🙂
  10. Okay, I guess it is just too long since I had stock Android on my Pro1. Sorry.
  11. That is normal for Stock Android-- that is the recovery. You should see "Start" near the power button. If yyou use the volume up or volume down rocker you should be able to cycle through a number of choices including reboot to bootloader. Start does a system restart. You pick your option with volume and then hit the power button to make it happen.
  12. Yes, here too. Luckliy someone usually gets the updates posted here. I check into IGG once a week (largely ignoring the comments section, lol,) Don't where the email notifications are broken, but looks like they are.
  13. September update: Dear Pro1-X backers, Here are the latest updates! As mentioned in our previous update shipping is temporarily on hold - we are deeply sorry for these delays! We have spent the last few weeks working through some contractual issues that have come up with our shipping partners in Hong Kong. This has unfortunately impacted the operations and logistics of all orders which were scheduled to leave the warehouse last month. The most realistic estimate we can provide for shipping and delivery is December 2022. Whilst we understand that this is not id
  14. One week is a short time. They are a very small shop and are probably getting a high volume of email right now. Hopefully they will get to you. I would guess shipping to Russia from HK won't be too troublesome, but I would imagine if there were specific problems with that, they would contact their Russian backers-- However, I am not knowledgeable on this, just guessing.
  15. Can you giva a more precise ideab of "bad battery drain?" I get what i consider quite good battery life on 19,1, meaning the Pro1 easily lasts me all day, even with a lot ofuse and screen time. My battery was recently replaced, so I get long life anyway, but I'm not getting unusual drain.
  16. This is a user to user forum. Any new information will come through updates on IGG, which then gets posted here by one of the folks frequenting this forum. 🙂
  17. No. And when it is it will appear in the ROM link in this post, pinned to the top of the forum.
  18. I don't think this update was sent out as email at all, probably an error. I didn't receive it either and I have always had them by email. Always a good idea to check IGG once a week for new updates.
  19. The only thing that has been said so far is that those perks will be sent out after the phones. However, I would recommend contacting FxTec via email and explain your situation. I suspect they may have batteries to send out and might make an exception in your case. I'm not connected to FxTec, just another customer, so I can't guarantee they will do anything, but if they have the batteries for repairs, they may be able to do something. Certainly worth a try.
  20. There is a VoLTE switch there. If the SIM really controls that, you might find it grayed out, but if not you can switch it off.
  21. I'm not sure why having VoLTE would create problems with calls (and I mean that, I am not super knowledgable so I literally don't know) , but when you said you couldn't disable VoLTE, were You talking about in Android settings or using the phone menu (*#*#4636#*#*)? Mint, like so many MNVOs now is a T-Mobile MNVO. I wonder if in your area T-Moble is relying more on a couple of the bands they've acquired that the Pro 1/ 1x don't have (e.g., band 71).
  22. Sorry, but based on an n=2, that's flatly false. First time I sent mine in, one month, second time was 6 months because they didn't have parts, but they were clear about that when I sent it in and I had it back 3 weeks after parts became available. They probably, as said, can supply the battery, but given it is a new phone under warranty and the exact nature of the problem hasn't been established, myself, I would send it in. They will tell you what to expect when you work out the trouble ticket with them before sending it in.
  23. Yes, the physical measurements are the same.
  24. I've never been able to find a source that spells it out, but I believe that once a company has had their Android GMS certified, there are road blocks to their providing a non-certfied version without Gapps. But, it's a guess, not fact.
