  3. I started as a cook in institutions some 25 years ago and I remember the introduction of the new health code in kitchens. No more fresh soup, desert, or local vegetables, but all industrial produced/processed half products. in 25 years our lives have changed dramatically from dirt which enhance the immune system to a sterile environment in which we turned in to weak helpless beings with a depraved immune system.

  4. Hey guys! I know the subject of this thread won't be relevant to everyone, but we have had a few comments from customers who have been struggling to open and shut their Pro1... I just wanted to clarify that the Pro1's slider mechanism wasn't designed to simply slide open... you do need to hold the phone at such an angle that you lift the top of the screen up whilst also pushing up from the bottom simultaneously. After you have got the knack, it becomes a lot more straight forward and you will be able to slide it open much more quickly and seamlessly. I have attached a video for those

  5. On an unrelated matter, I noticed I wasn't passing safetynet, turned out there's a new version of magisk. I tried direct install (under lineage) and worked fine, reports passing again.

  7. The Fx count down timer does not display properly sometimes. When shutting screen. No cancel button displayed and the dialogue window seems to be stretched and attached to the right hand frame of the screen.

  8. As an update, I chartered a private jet for my mom. She is back home in the Chicago suburbs, safely tucked into her house 3 blocks away from me, Safe and sound.

  9. @tdm has implemented the driver sligthly differently for lineage, but his should work similarly. The limit of which combinations of 3 keys and up is limited by hardware and they should be the same ones and somewhat clustered together as to which ones will exclude eachother which makes it pretty much a non-issue to map for games. Any combination of 2 keys should be possible.

  10. I tried a simple test of holding down a single key and was able to type other keys. I tried with 2 keys held down and was able to type some keys, but not all. I thought I remembered @netman explaining that there were some limitations like that in the fix, where it wouldn't allow for certain multi-key combos, but would allow for enough that game input could be mapped around it. That is just from memory, though, so could be wrong. Does it behave the way I described in LOS?

  15. Each partition has an image that can be applied to reset that partition to what it "should" be. Most of the partitions then cannot be modified and have OTA updates work... any modifications would make the OTA fail checks that ensure that the update is safe to apply. This is actually valuable, because the updates are not complete images, they are like a recipe to take the existing data on the partition and write new bits in specific locations. If the existing partition doesn't match the expected image, that could write complete garbage over whatever is actually there. There are a couple pa

  16. Yesterday I had two spontaneous reboots while having a call. I was working on my garage, and had working gloves on. First time I really thought that the device rebooted spontaneously, and the second time I was ready to throw the device towards concrete wall... But then I realized that I had accidentally long-pressed the power button on both of times and this caused the reboot 😄

  19. Which might happen and might not. And if it happens, it still proves nothing. If the virus should come back to China, which everyone hopes it won't, but the rest of the world is already suffering higher infection rates than China had during the height of its crisis, that "guarantee" will immediately prove worthless. Yeah, which of course is exactly the same as building and marketing an Android phone for mass market. You don't seem to "understand" much, actually. We all want our phones and are not happy about the delays, but venting exaggerated (and, by the way, potentially illegal
