  1. Yes it is the same store with phone-sized phones. Some idiot somewhere decided that flagships had to be huge phablets, and phone-sized phones should have mediocre specs. It is only in Japan that Sharp and to some Extent Sony has tried to fight that. But the Sharp devices are not produced for the international market.
  2. I think they are very very busy getting things out these day, so might be slow in replying. If there are any specific measurements or photos you want me to take, I could try on the "Final Sample" .
  3. In my experience that goes for phones with thick screen protectors only. Clean or with a thin film it works fine, but it could have issues with a tempered glass protector. The button that have issues are those close to the edge, that is the soft keys. A gaming thing would do wise in not placing the keys this close to the edges. But sure it is not an ideal solution. But it is a technically elegant workaround - though it looks like sh....
  4. That something takes 4-5hours, does NOT mean a factory outputs only one unit in that period.... Both due to it not being one person only, and some processes are done by machines (We have seen videos on that long ago) Even though I hope all the best for them, I doubt it will ever be a product sold in millions. Should the miracle occur and people in general returns to usable keyboards, I'm sure they will find ways to have robots doing a larger part of the process than currently.
  5. How odd. Contact them directly with the order details to get things sorted out. In principle this is a user to user forum, so no guarantee that they see your post. [email protected]
  6. Not to sound too sarcastic, but I do assume that you read the original post in this thread? It says: But I hope that they will get it fixed soon.
  7. To see if it is a wide block on a range, try this site, that has an IP quite close by: butterfly-conservation.org (This site is -hidden-,, that site is -hidden-,)
  8. But could be that someone use the blacklist in a more drastic way? They got a form to request removal http://barracudacentral.org/rbl/removal-request (rather funny that it is http and not https BTW)
  9. Looking here https://whatismyipaddress.com/ip/-hidden-, I do see one site that blacklisted your ip, so perhaps you should try to find out what that is all about.
  10. Another very simple interface is used by Samsung on their click on Keyboards, see e.g. this
  11. Though not consecutive they would still be in order, right? So some info could be deduced.
  12. Isn't it a bit overkill, if they send us mail with tracking info when actually shipped? As an alternative to absolute numbers (that might well be considered a trade secret), they could communicate, say weekly, on how many percent of the pre-orders that had been shipped.
  13. Yes, I expect so too, did I say otherwise? And I look forward to the first 'unpack videos' and reactions from end users.
  14. As I usually say to my friends: If you told you would be somewhere at a specific time, then at the latest when you were supposed to leave home, you know you will not be able to make it on time. And unless the delay is trivial, well then send a short text that you are going to be late. Preferably with a new ETA, or wait sending an ETA to when you know (The delay could be you are waiting for a late babysitter). But you should NOT wait to after or immediately before the promised time, before communicating that you will be late. It is the same thing here. When they tell they estimate to
  15. "Days"? If in that range it could just as well be open. I think the best solution is to allow edits freely. But to keep an open history of the edits. And whenever anyone wants to quote something 'controversial', it is a good idea to use the actually Quote-function. So things does not look bad. IDEA: Perhaps it would be an good if a post lost any positive smiley-reactions on edit - for the case where people change something fundamentally (keep any sad and confused).
  16. My GUESS is that it litereally means in the order they received payments. And hence the ones first to order got the pay-mail earlier thus also has a higher chance of being among the first that paid. Adjust that with the promise that the (small) number with Indiegogo coupons were promised priority from the very beginning. And Erik wrote that the number of qwertZ numbers were so small that they were expected to be all included in the first batch too. Shortly after he wrote they expected to leave the fulfilment warehouses starting Oct 29. EDIT: Note hat this is my optimistic inte
  17. Actually we do... it is the icon usually used for Find right of the Size drop down. (The mouse over says Preview)
  18. ....Why do I suddenly recall the Moto-Z Mods..... Sorry for cursing... 😇
  19. I think this discussion will die once you all get it in your hands.... It is all a matter of how you hold it. My hands are not large, So I can not operate a 16:9 slab much above 65mm wide while keeping a secure grip. Both an Iphone S6- or Galaxy S8- are slightly to large for my hands. And yet I can hold the Pro1 securely but still be able to reach S from the right and K from the left... And stretching one key further.... It all depends on the way we hold it. The NATURAL way to hold it is to place the corner in the palm of your hand: But if you need more reac
  20. I wonder how many Pro1s that can be on that ship...😋
  21. Top right in the overview you can mark everything as read. If you were not 'up to date' before the change to the new forum, you can not easily see what you had not read in the old. You would have to look in the top threads, until your are sure it is older than last you read.
  22. There is a blueish bar separating the new and the old, e.g.: ADD: And yes, it is a known bug that the "Thanks" have been reset. They are looking into if they can be transferred somehow.
  23. Could well be, or other wiring, circuitry, or the battery itself. All has to be dimensioned for a higher current/power throughput...
  24. ...And we COULD rely on other users reporting it if/when the edits are misused. But to really work it would require that the edit-history is visible to everyone, as it is on some sites. And IF the quote function were tamper-free, So people could not be misquoted as I did above... Often edits (even late ones) can be a really good thing if used constructively. Say to correct a typo or language that make things incomprehensible or even easily misunderstood. I remember I have seen a site were previous text was shown as strike-out. This works fine for single edits, but not for m
  25. From my perspective the point is not that they raise the price as such, but that they cancelled the pre-orders that were made waiting for a possible Scandinavian layout. They could have clearly stated that if the Scandinavian layout were ever to come out (they several times said this depends on the demand) then it will be at a different price. Had we known this I'm quite sure many in Scandinavia would not have waited, but bought the QWERTZ print version, that is quite close to Swedish/Finnish, and reasonably close to Norwegian...
