  1. Pro1X, not the old Pro1 I deduce from the memory numbers 🙂 Too bad it is not for you. Hope it will find a new owner soon.
  2. Try "Fastboot devices". If the phone is in fastboot mode it should return an Id Fastboot is generally more 'picky' on the port&cable combination. Does ADB work? (slightly less picky) If not, it could be driver, could be port, could be cable.... When I got a new PC, it did not work at all, with any port or any cable I had. but going through a hub things worked....
  3. Here they are next to each other.... (sorry for the dust, and sloppy focussing)
  4. Indeed, thanks, forgot that aspect, it can be really slow for the initial fix.
  5. Assuming it is not some software interfering with the functionality, my guess would be the connection to the antenna. So first guess would be a factory reset, and if the bug is still there, you would need to contact FxTec.
  6. It would be nice for other readers if the title included Pro1X or Pro1
  7. PS Be aware that AICP-R is soon gone, so hurry up and download!! See this
  8. Note that there does not seem to be development on this 'old' AICP R-16.1 any more. We currently got a slightly flawed S 17.1 version with outdated security update, and the R fades away from the download list about one a week. SO If you use AICP R, then make SURE to have downloaded the last R from 20220629 before it is too late. That is before end of september Available at https://dwnld.aicp-rom.com/, direct link https://dwnld.aicp-rom.com/device/pro1/WEEKLY/aicp_pro1_r-16.1-WEEKLY-20220629.zip
  9. Sound like something similar, but different. It is the first time i heard of it on 9, s[ I think it is hardware not software. With a little luck mere dirt. I would try to take a magnifying glass and look into the port, if nothing visible, try another cable
  10. Well AICP-R seemed fine, but AICP-S is a bit early. But that apart it is roughly an LOS with a bunch of extra 'options' . I can not really fairly talk on the stability, as I'm not using neither Lineage nor AICP as a daily driver, but for tests only,
  11. Interesting. Just to be sure: Is it completely ignoring the attached charger, or powering the device without charging the battery? (that is, is the battery indicator more or less stable or dropping as if unplugged in this state?) If ignoring completely, you could have a defect on port/cable/charger or merely some pocketlint in the port
  12. It would be better to have these issues in separate threads, as others are unlikely to find them in an nfc thread... Thread on the pro1x speakers already exists.
  13. Well it requires Phyton, but apart from that it should be possible to get it working with Windows, I have not experimented with it though....
  14. I do not know if it was sent out to buyers from their website or just posted on IGG
  15. Their last update is just over a week old, August 24? https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/pro1-x-smartphone-functionality-choice-control/x/16576339#/updates/44
  16. Yes, unfortunately I see the same on the test/unit I got. I had hoped that was not so for the retail units.... So the only option I currently know of is the somewhat complex using EDL. I have not found the time to experiment with that yet, and it is unlikely that I will for the next couple of weeks.
  17. Flashed aicp_pro1_s-17.1-WEEKLY-20220831.zip on security update 2022-03-05 Seems much the same. Still initial boot-loop after flash, But that aside things seem to work.
  18. (lineage-19.1-20220829-nightly-pro1-signed.zip on August 5 security patch installed smoothly using adb sideload and MindTheGapps-12.1.0-arm64-20220605_174313) Still with the keyboard bug introduced that messes accessibility apps (works on AICP R/S based on Android 11/12) see e.g. this.
  19. (I merged some posts in from a separate thread. I do not recall if 5G was part of the title - it might have been)
  20. From what I could mesure, the camera 'island' is a 0.8mm 'bump'. So would have to be a really tight fit covering the camera, to make any difference
  21. forgot the thread, but i do remember that @ducksoup was the one that still had the isues after.
  22. ...But as e.g. Nokia did a workaround for their device, it is a bug that can be circumvented. I do not know if the details of this fix is open, so it is 'just' a matter of FxTec implementing it in an OTA update, or they will have to 'reinvent the wheel' here... It is NOT a fix that is so common/open that it is part of e.g. Lineage 18 or 19 for the Pro1 that see the same issue (That was not there for Lineage 16, nor stock 9).
