  1. if you want the keyboard in the 'wrong' direction (BB-style) with few and small keys, the least huge is the UniHertz Pocket Titan. My personal favorite is the Pro1, that is about to be replaced by the Pro1X any day (after covid and other delays - the original Pro1 is unavailable except used from e.g. ebay) There is also the Cosmo Astro Slide, with larger but fewer keys, that is also close to shipping, if they have not already begun. There are a few more options with a huge Titan and and odly folding older Cosmo, but the three above would be my suggestion to have a look at, depen
  2. Hmm would have imagined the other way round, that some margin could have interfered with the swiping.
  3. Can you be a bit more specific? Swipe seems to work fine on AICP for me. Could it be something with margins? (under Display settings, Touchscreen settings)
  4. Update to March 23, with March 5 security patch using OTA went smoothly. Known keyboard bug still there (see lineage thread) (The stage after download and install called "Finalising package installation" is surprising slow though - like it is on LineageOS)
  5. I personally feel the same, but they might have their good reasons for prioritising using their limited resources elsewhere - we can only guess here.
  6. (lineage-18.1-20220321-nightly-pro1-signed.zip on March 5 security patch installed smoothly using OTA ) ...But the reintroduced (early August 2021) Accessibility / keyboard bug is not (yet?) fixed. The stage after download and install called "Finalising package installation" is surprising slow though)
  7. If you mean if there is a well known and tested method the answer seems to be no. So you would have to dig into what @Jamar is referring to. BUT as you are rooted, perhaps simpler install software that can take a complete backup, And after backup do the stock flashing, flash back to Lineage and then restore, If you do find a clean way to do it on Lineage, then please let us know.
  8. Using magnetic adapters my self, you might try to take a magnifying glass and see if some ferromagnetic dirt might have crept in, in either side. Normal dust from the garden soil can contain enough iron to cause issues, and can be quite hard to brush or blow away.
  9. What ever it was, it fixed it self about 3d after install.... See this collage of roughly 2x5 days stitched together. (So must have been an app-issue, or net glitch after all) Note the slope of the two added green lines. 10 percent point a day idle consummation is not bad. :)
  10. @Dean disagreements are fine, but personal attacks on other forum members are not!

  12. There might be something rotten in the new version, it eats battery at an alarming rate while idle. (same programs running, most killed with Greenify as usual, and according to Gsam, the apps is responsible for less than 1%. No phone connection, WiFi only - it is the preproduction unit with no Imei) (Before charge was the old version. charged and upgraded)
  13. The short answer is No, not out of the box. The longer answer is that the feature is inside Android, and is a matter of wether the keyboard-setup file defines the keyboard as a full keyboard or a reduced one. And the full one does not have the 'sticky' feature, but the partly does. See e.g. this. I'm not aware if some software on top, e.g. SwiftKey might offer an option for sticky shift even on a full keyboard.
  14. Interresting. I have never found a pattern to actively provoke it, so could not tell if it is luck you did not see it or if fixed. But let us hope it has been fixed.

  16. When opening and mounting a new display, consider to also add a slight diffuser for the LED. @SCΛRECROW reported good result with simple mate tape here

  18. I think you should start to see what models you can get a HK wallet for. And then start by ruling out the too short and too narrow ones. Most likely you will have to end up buying one slightly too large, with ROUGHLY similar camera holes, and carefully remove the holster part, and then find a simple tpu-case that suits the pro1, and glue that on the inside of the wallet were the old sat, and do any cuttings/adjustments for camera etc. Here is a list of currently known devices with roughly similar dimensions as the bottom half. https://www.gsmarena.com/results.php3?nHeightMin=153&
  19. Yes, I guess it would have been a bureaucratic mess to make an infinitesimally small change to the Pro1X, say black housing, and called that say Pro1W and have that been for pre-orders and the other IGG-perks - with individuals preferring the other than what they were in for. Of the major changes they were forced to make after they got swindled, the drop of the 'IGG exclusivity' of the Pro1X variant was one of the least ones IMHO.

  21. The Priv, as well as the Pro1, and some Samsungs, is only curved in one direction. So it is fairly easy to make a real tempered glass screen protector for them. And I used them on the Priv. Despite searching quite a bit, I unfortunately have not found similar for the Pro1 or Elephone U (pro) using the same screen. I tried with a glass cutter to cut some intended for a Samsung S8+ with practically same width but longer - but was unable to, they all broke. ...You can still get them for a Priv. e.g. here
  22. Thanks for the hint. I DO have the same problems, though it does not seem to help opening the keyboard. Sometimes the scanning works, but have not been able to do it in a reproducible way, nor do I see any pattern.
