Hey all for those on LineageOS 18.1 wondering two things, one how to get the FXtec key to work through settings, not sure if that is achieved in FX Service. FX service related at least and this is on me a game specifically Asphalt 9 with FX service installed the keyboard is not fully functional curious if there is a way to disable it or if someone knows a workaround? thanks!

Related to this, in not such an easy way, the key thing that i gathered from a lengthy call with At&t when trying to add the Xperia 10 ii (returned it cause At&t insisted it will not work) is that and impacts my current Xperia 10 (which they said it likely won't but were less insistent). The key thing is they are doing a full court press (basketball) whenever a new device hits a 3G tower, which was the case with the Xperia 10 ii, for some reason on data it would not go 4G, so they immediately disabled it. I was receiving texts saying they wanted me to get a new phone that they would send to me, they went as far as sending it and I refused delivery and that prevented them from activating the replacement and the messages from AT&T have stopped coming to me. Curious though what regions of the US they are hitting first, I am in the Boston area.

Maybe it depends on the city, I am in Boston and the device has been fine. When I spoke to AT&T about it they just said as long as it supports 4G they will not take any action to shut the device down. One little trick i found was switching cellular off and then resetting it from the SIM info and then reenabe cellular. Then my connection worked. Maybe that helps. Also I am AT&T contract post-paid account.

3.4 uprade to 4.0 at the moment is the only way to to get to 4.0. It's good if one knows how to get it, since it is not officially supported. Some quirks with the keyboard, but others can suggest things before upgrading to 4.0. I did a slow transition, but now it is my conplete daily driver. Recent addition was getting the camera to work. I think others might have some thoughts too

Hey all, Just sharing this cause it was helpful to me. But if in the event you need to replace your keyboard (thank you FXtec for sending a replacement) such as I had the arrow key worn down (we will blame one game on that). The key thing is the keyboard is on as an adhesive. Things you need: Electrical Prying Device (Possibly Exacto Knife) Double sided adhesive (I used some left over ones from cases that came with it but 3M adhesives are options too) Process Keyboard Removal Turn the device off. So this worked for a while but eventually it was too tight to keep so every day it slipped off and got harder to hold in place. If I were to try it again I would probably had a thin layer of double sided tape to keep it in place.

the number row is slightly tighter but a work around is using ones nails there or more toward the nail of your finger. I think if this were to be produced the display needs to be cut in half to fit more tightly and maybe some adhesive would help. The bottom part aside from new holes fits almost too snuggly on occasion it has slipped off after extensive use. The overall feel at least around the home with tiled floors makes me feel a little more comfortable if i were to mistakenly drop it. Hey all, so I want to share what I think could become something that could work for. I decided to get two of these Bone Store universal slim bumper cases for the 4.7 inch to 7 inch phones. ah sorry about that missed quote. I see that link though the options in the US from what I found are first not this item but all listing leather. If i can find a way to get in the US i think i might get it. Though my phone is in london at the moment getting fixed. Wonder if I could ask fxtec to throw one in on the way back. Course I would pay for it.

The challenge i have is that one it is not available in the US but secondly I dont do leather, was really hoping it was faux leather, but seems it is real.

Thanks for the pictures on this and the thoughts. I am wondering what your impression was with out the case being glued in and if by chance the fold was a little tighter?

Certainly not a concern, I have had been in great communication with them, as I am waiting on a replacement part, they responded with in 2 business days, sometimes a 3rd, pending on the timing with other production related things happening. I have been very happy with their communication and responses.

On ATT in the US the call quality is great

Hey all, they have been slow, but understandable, I have to say they have been great and informative in my experience. I know it is a lot to ask but patience while they are handling a ton of requests.

Sadly at the moment I can't get it to be seen by my laptop and booting into fastboot doesn't work cause there is not enough of a charge. It is odd cause the device recongizes the USB as least indicated by the red LED turning on, but the lack of a charge is the deeper concern. The battery dead and wont boot anymore. i left it charging for a number of hours today and to not avail. I fear too a disconnect of some sort from the short fall. We'll see what the repair options are when they follow up.
