The need for a confirmation from a moderator makes this forum really really slow. Wouldn't it be enough to make the confirmation a must for new threads, but not for answers? In the current state it takes hours to make an answer visible, which may lead to a lot of people saying the same thing.

The first picture seems to be a little to bright, the second seems to be pretty good. In the third one the pro1 wins clearly. It surely seems the camera is already good enough for me in this state. It makes me optimistic that the camera is going to be pretty solid once it isn't WIP anymore. But I am a pretty basic camera user, wouid love to hear the opinion of somebody who has actually an idea about what he is talking.

Maybe it has something todo with the country? They said they will present the QWERTZ-Keyboard, they may have invited only the People from QWERTZ Countries?

The real pitty here is that WhatsApp is a must. I need it too, but would prefer not to.

I think they probably are talking about the beta program. If that is the case they have a slight delay. They will inform the lucky participants next week. Sure it takes at least another 1-2 week until they have the phone, so I would expect results mid august.

Would be nice. I would prefer an Omni-search tough. Typing 'Sky' f.e. should give you a list with 'call skyler', 'write skyler', 'open Skype' and so on. This should include settings ('Wirel...' => 'turn on wireless'), apps, contacts and so on (custom defined macros).

The N900 not because it had the best hardware, it probably hadn't, but because the whole OS was designed for a keyboard phone (with a stylus). Go back in a menu? just click somewhere on the background. Call Peter, just type peter anywhere outside an app and press enter, sms? the same but with an arrow-key in-between. This grade of efficiency will most certainly not be possible with android at the moment. But I hope some lineage-devs will work in this direction. P.S. The single-key shortcut to an app is nice but pretty static.

So sounds like a normal windows 10 update and most supplier-versions of android... I still remember the time I had a phone which worked all the time, it was a N900 with maemo 5 on it (fantastic OS, unfortunately marketing beats quality). But you are right, a backup may save some nerves. Imagine having to ride a train for an hour and your phone does not allow you to stream a movie.

Sure, I agree, more resolution would be better. But again it should not be the focus of that phone, the keyboard should be. Sure it is expensive compared to "budget-china" phones. It has a 2160 x 1080 (FHD+) panel not a 1080p. Okay it is a small difference in numbers but important for the form factor. Higher resolution also means higher power use, while adding not all to much more quality. To have a good panel is way more important than to have a higher resolutions on these small devices, the ppi is already high enough. I do not know if the panel is actually good, but i hope for a good brightness and a good black, than the resolution is more than enough

Don't get me wrong, I hate "social media" as much as you, and I believe that only 4% of dutch people use twitter, but the real question is, how many people do not have twitter but are interested enough in a smartphone with a keyboard? These numbers may look different. The real point however is, that a newsletter is much more work than a twitter account and has less visibility outside of the bubble (people on this forum here). But as said I would love a Newsletter too.

Vienna would be lovely, wouldn't say no to a trip there. And of course I would also love to invite, but I don't think Switzerland makes any sense at all. Small, Expensive and unfortunately clearly an iPhone country. Unfortunately I think Vienna is also rather on the small side. I think they should look at the pre-orders and not choose a Location somewhere in the middle. Maybe it is only me, but with my current schedule it is hard to find time for a longer travel and it is somewhat expensive just for a phone.
