This is definitely an over kill. While I understand the doubt in commercial product most of them have a great track record. And they would instantly be dead if they fuck up, because it is there core business (that is the difference to other companies). My idea only leads to a delay in sending the phone, not in receiving payments and so also not in production. I can not think of a db structure where this select should trigger any problems. In the worst case you need two distinct queries which are used depending on servertime (This is only may daily buisness, so my experience says me I am most likely wrong ;-) ). There is an official statement that deliveries will start in September. I see no reason to believe that it will get to november. The production of the phone is most likely quite fast. So chances are good, that we all receive our handsets until Oktorber. As long as we do not hear anything else from fxtec there is no reason to believe otherwise.

The newest newsletter suggests, that the orders are processed in the order of payment. This is actually good news for me, I will be fast and I need a new phone as soon as possible. But I do not think it is a wise move for the company. (Why am I doing this, I gonna regret this soooo much if they are listening) I suggest give people a fixed time, like a week to pay and then process the orders like that: 1. It makes spending 650+ on a Smartphone so much easier, knowing you can replace the Battery.

I disagree to some point. This would be a great thing, and I voted on it, but not is the wrong moment in my opinion. They likely have sleepless nights to finish the device as soon as possible. Every additional channel is doomed to split the feedback from the team over even more platforms. Every feedback we give them is useless at the moment, since there is no time for changes anymore. But once the device has released, this may be a great idea.

The problem seems to be that it is indeed manual spam and not a robot. But your suggestion would help anyway, since it would limit the mass of spam to a not so intrusive amount.

The first picture seems to be a little to bright, the second seems to be pretty good. In the third one the pro1 wins clearly. It surely seems the camera is already good enough for me in this state. It makes me optimistic that the camera is going to be pretty solid once it isn't WIP anymore. But I am a pretty basic camera user, wouid love to hear the opinion of somebody who has actually an idea about what he is talking.

Maybe it has something todo with the country? They said they will present the QWERTZ-Keyboard, they may have invited only the People from QWERTZ Countries?

I think they probably are talking about the beta program. If that is the case they have a slight delay. They will inform the lucky participants next week. Sure it takes at least another 1-2 week until they have the phone, so I would expect results mid august.
