  1. No. As I said, it can be minutes after booting, with wifi completely up and running. This isn't related to the ping latency issue. Well, not unless it is somehow. lol
  2. To be clear, it happens even after multiple minutes of being booted. In looking at other reported crash/reboot situations, @Waxberry has wanted to see if wifi is involved, because he is trying to chase down some reboots possibly related to wifi. This is a way to reproduce the problem so they can track down what is going wrong. (assuming others can replicate...I can make it happen at will) I will continue to narrow down the variables and update with the details. Right now it is definitely wifi related and might also involve battery charge state.
  3. Enter the pwd and launch after. It happens even after waiting, but I am trying to give you the best chance of reproducing it. I do have security disabled too, however. Only mentioning it as a variable.

  5. Try the following: - Turn on wifi and cellular - Unplug phone from any charger - Put phone in landscape orientation, with keyboard out - Reboot phone by holding down the power button and selecting restart - Immediately when android starts, launch speedtest - The app should orient landscape and then go back to portrait - Immediately after it goes to portrait, press the start circle I am not saying all these variables are part of the issue, but I have been causing it to force reboot for the past 30 minutes, and haven't narrowed down all variables yet, so t
  6. The speedtest app causes my phone to reboot when it runs a speed test. It happened 4 out of 5 times today. Today is the first time I have run the app on my Pro1. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times, but it did not fix the issue. The first time it happened, when my phone rebooted, it forced me to use my lock screen pattern before it would finish booting, in addition to at the lock screen. I did not have lock screen security enabled at the time this happened. I had security enabled for the past week, but when I unlocked my bootloader and rooted my phone and did all the
  7. Or just long press on them when they come up, and tell it not to send them anymore.
  8. You should quickly buy stock in Aukey, before @EskeRahn buy's all their ultra ultra slow chargers. 🙂
  9. Ah ha! So the prophecy came true! :-)
  10. Thanks for adding this. It looks very powerful. It does look like there might be some bugs, with file transfers failing, but it is unclear if that is particular phones or the app. I'll have to try it out sometime.
  11. Maybe the Mass Storage code isn't compiled into the firmware then. 😕
  12. Have you tried looking at the SD card in a computer to see if there are multiple partitions? Did you have the Pro1 format the partitions it thought it found?
  13. Oh, I didn't understand that it is a Magisk module. For others: https://magiskroot.net/pix3lify-unity-magisk-module/
  14. Oh brother! This is the first I've heard about this. So because they took the SD card out of the Pixel, they *had* to rip the option out to write to the SD card when it is available? Really good thinking by google engineers there. Do you know if that Pocophone version of gcam has the same issue? That one apparently took better pictures in low light vs the Pixel version, from what I remember reading on here. My only thought about the SD card issue is that if a phone is rooted, an app like FolderMount (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devasque.fmount&hl=en_
  15. Magisk isn't required to make something work in the Pixel camera app though? You are saying you recommend doing those two things separately?
  16. Did you try any of the other apps that he linked to in the 3rd post? Some older apps that require root expect supersu. This might be one of them. The others may be more forgiving. Did you get a pop-up asking for root access?
  17. Good to know. Thanks for pointing it out.
  18. Okay, so for Android/LineageOS purposes, it can't backup anything, since android is set to encrypt the files, and twrp can't decrypt that yet.
  19. How does it backup without being able to decrypt?
  20. It does require root. The other similar apps he lists in the post also require root.
  21. I was under the impression that recent versions of android require root to enable mass storage mode. I haven't tried any apps yet, but I can try and report back.
  22. Is this forward looking to when we have a TWRP that can decrypt, or is there currently a version of TWRP that can decrypt?
  23. Now we just need to find a business that offers padded phone testing rooms. :-)
