  1. So the screen protector that comes with it is a non-curved glass type, or it is a non-curved plastic type? It looks plastic in the videos and pictures I've seen, but that could have been a poor guess on my part.
  2. The problem is in the way the subforums are displayed. If they were displayed hierarchically, that would be great. Right now it is a matter of having to fiddle with check boxes to filter out other stuff. I think UI navigation is the key here. I do agree that, no matter the topic, if it is about many instances of some topic, then separate threads are better than everything being co-mingled into a single thread. The sub-forum (or whatever grouping object it is) could hold the name of the topic and then the threads could be for each instance of that topic. I think bug-zilla type track
  3. It lets people know who is about function and who is not. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  4. Please move this post to this thread too. It isn't Sailfish related. It is about TWRP and/or alternative ways to backup partitions.
  5. Thanks for adding to the list Kashif. Just wanted to be sure we had accurate information so that others could use the same apps.
  6. For others the name of the one linked to is: Microsoft Remote Desktop (as @Flash-a-holic guessed)
  7. For other people, the name of the one linked to is: Computer launcher PRO 2019 for Win 10 themes
  8. Maybe, but with so many apps, we need exact names and whether they are from the Google Play Store or some other source.
  9. I did. There isn't one by that name. There are some launchers that have Windows in the name, but nothing called "Windows 10 Desktop".
  10. If that is easy for you, then you are a better man than me. If you are a woman, you are definitely a better woman than I am too! ๐Ÿ˜„
  11. I'm on the cyanogenmod kitkat version, so not apples to apples, but my SD card, used with the link2sd app, makes things run faster. The access to the fast sd card is faster than the access to the internal storage, so my apps launch faster, read faster and write faster to the external card. I have almost all apps linked to it. I have a small number of critical apps not linked to it, in case the card dies. Regarding this thread and your comments about phones dying... I'm on my 5th or 6th Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G. I had this one in reserve until the Pro1 was delayed this summer, and t
  12. I have to say: I'm sure glad the language displayed in my apps has the same character set as the keyboard. I'm trying to wrap my head around being Japanese (or Chinese or Russian) and seeing everything in one character set and language on the screen, but a completely different character set on the keyboard.
  13. 244.97 grams! That settles it. @EskeRahn phones were seriously depleted in electrons! ๐Ÿ˜„
  14. Wow, that's really surprising. I know not every phone supports that, but I really have to think that was just an oversight for fxtec and not done intentionally, since they seem to want to keep things open and available. Maybe @Waxberry can comment on that limitation and whether it will be opened up. Thank you for the information about TWRP. I guess that means there is no way, currently, to do a partition backup with the Pro1 via ADB or Recovery. There might be a way to do it from within Android when rooted, but that's atypical.
  15. Moderator: This is a split from this sailfish thread Thanks for pinging him. I would like to be able to use TWRP to make nandroid backups of my /data partition (for Android use). Since this is shared in A/B, maybe that works already. I'd also like to be able to use "adb pull" to get the backup off the device, as well as backup the media files (TWRP doesn't include media files in /data backups). I believe "adb pull" only works in recovery mode, with the partition unmounted. I don't know if stock recovery can do that. UPDATE: Thinking about this more, as long as
  16. Same here for the Springer Spaniel in my picture (black and white dog). The male Newfoundland (left in the picture) was, for the most part, okay with other male dogs. He did not like male pizza delivery people approaching my wife if I wasn't home. We went through more pizza guys that way.
  17. Is TWRP fully working? I saw some older information about it not support A/B partitions, but that was from July.
  18. Okay...a new technique to get *someone* on the couch! That should cover it! ๐Ÿ˜„
  19. A new technique to get the ladies on the couch! ๐Ÿ˜„ (Or to get the men on the couch, for you ladies out there!)
