Although I was never really a fan of this type of sleeve over just a rubber skin type cover I ordered this one as well and it does fit perfectly - quality is great too. It was a bit expensive...I think something like 30 or 35 euro's + shipping. in any case I do think it was well worth it.

Yes, this. I was addressing the comment from people that they had installed the ROM but not installed the boot image provided with it. I was just making it clear that the ROM has a boot image. So you cannot eg. install test12 but still have the boot image for test11.

Hi. Anyone from finland intrested to buy my pro1 - qwertz? I have now used the phone for around 5-months and only problems with it is small light bleed and rattle from screen. I have fixed the rattle with soft hockey tape under the screen, so it don't occur anymore. Backplate paint is also starting to show some wear because dirt have gotten under my modified huawei p30 Pro case, but if anyone is buying the phone, the case comes with it and you can just continue to use it. Basically international layouts were based on US keyboard map but some of the keys, mostly non-alphanumeric ones were changed (as we have more alphanumeric letters than in English). They kept CTRL + ALT, in Hungarian layout, their name are the same, in German layout, they were renamed (but still the same). The "Alt Gr" key is an additional modifier, which is technically the right Alt button on US keyboard. @tdm thanks for the diagnosis....sad, but not entirely unexpected. I don't know if the support team has been following this thread as well but I received instructions today to send it to London so they can have a further look at what's wrong and how to deal with that. In the meantime I am doing another case experiment. This time it's the Dux Ducis Universal case. This one really doesn't seem it needs any tinkering since you can fold it to access the camera. Although directly gluing the phone inside seems a bit sketchy...so I also ordered a Huawei P20 Pro soft case based on @EskeRahn's experiments. So in case the adhesive lets go there will be still some bumper protection. So the idea is, pop the phone in the silicone and insert it in the flip case like that. I honestly think you are jumping the gun—not that they shouldn't be faster, but they have a limited staff still working from home and it takes them a while to get through all the email that comes in. You can try invoking @Erik here and see if he can elevate it. I believe from others' experience that you will get the refund.

Beacause of weak 4g antenna. I am often at work in thick concrete or steel buildings, where signal is weak and while my coworkers phones are still connected, mine won't work until i get totally outside. This is huge problem as customers and boss can't call me. Everything else works fine.

@tdm I ran the commands you asked me to, (on test11, bc test12 would'nt boot but that's for the other thread). If I understood the output from dumpsys media.camera correctly it's basically only reporting on the front facing camera - finding only 1 camera device. Then had a look at the dmesg output. not quite sure what's going on here but simply doing a search for 'camera' gives a bunch of related fails and errors....and a naming collision for the flash (could this be why the flashlight doesn't work in LOS, but does work in stock?). Fun detail - flash doesn't work again in LOS. I h

The last we heard was the last update was still stuck in certification (guess as part of the Corona-mess everywhere?). And any new updates will need certification too. So until that is solved I'm not expecting any new fixes. 😢

What's really getting to me is when I record a video, the audio is horrible and that's clearly due to software. Very concerned with the snail pace on fixes. And setting a wallpaper still winds up compressing the image horizontally.

Any idea when the "wake on double tap" will be back? It got taken out due to some bug afaik pretty early on. I really liked that on my PRIV x).
