  1. ....Who let that bee in here ? 😜
  2. Well they HAVE made project Treble that should ease upgrades. If I do not remember wrong, any phone launching with Pie HAS to provide Treble, so that should ease the upgrade to 10 significantly.
  3. In Nova yes, (but it is placed at the bottom left on the default Launcher)
  4. Thanks. Technically independent, but so much a fan boy of keyboard-sliders, that some would say that it inflicts on being impartial, as there are zero modern alternatives. I'm not the one to go to, to ask if a physical keyboard is worth the extra price, as well economical as size and weight. To me it is a clear YES, to others it might not be so. It much depends on the individual's usage pattern. My primary usage of a phone/phablet is sms/mms/mail and secondary calls and web-browsing. Others with other priority might feel otherwise. If people use texting even more, the Cosmo might be
  5. Just tried, and Autorotate, well the function is there, but as they seem to assume the same icon grid, rotating the icons in the grid, and stretching the grid, When it looks OK in Portrait, in landscape extremely spaced in one direction, and cramped together in the other (Or vice versa) - but not unusable. All the functionality is there, and with Ctrl+Arrow you can jump around the screens. An oddity with keyboard navigation is that you have to leave one of the the left most column spaces free as arrow-navigating there in landscape BOTH marks that empty space and the icon in the launch-bar
  6. Well to me it is the sides that are interesting. But just tried, and that means it is only messed up in the otherndirection in that particular app...
  7. Yup, see e.g. this thread, and this post linking to some paypal policies, that says
  8. Yeah, any takers? But more seriously, it ought to be added to the launcher app. Ether as a widget, or as a shortcut, we can place on the homescreen
  9. adb shell wm overscan 16,20,16,20 Matches the curves AND reduces the risk of accidental edge-touches. Note that "wallpaper" or "background" might be displayed beyond these boundaries. BUT not all programs handle it correctly. Various odd issues. e.g. the Danish National Broadcast DR.DK TV-app, gets confused, and adds additional borders when attempting full screen.... Problems like that typically occur if people coding are not consistent in working with the size of the physical or the logical display. Fiddling with the density also, can fix some, but can make it worse f
  10. I can launch the activity, but when attempting to crate a shortcut it does not appear on the homescreen (nor app list). (it is launched disregarding the selected dark theme though) Output from similar app
  11. Well actually it more or less follows the shape of the device that is not entirely rectangular either. Personally I'm so old-fashioned that I would have preferred it rectangular too though (I have applied a third party screen protector on top on the below)
  12. Currently the launcher is hidden seen from the apps-drawer, but I guess your idea would be a very simple solution, alternatively they could add a widget we could use.
  13. I guess that some third party app might do the trick by a desktop or key-shortcut, but ought to be available from the keyboard optimized launcher directly IMHO...
  14. Yes! Oddly I have found NO way to get to the app list with keyboard only, as the bottom left 'arrow', in the launcher, hasn't got Tab stop. It is very close to being a bug and not a feature request IMHO...
  15. A modification. The soft shell case type for "Huawei P20 Pro" is actually a better fit than the "Samsung Note 7" soft shell case. As the existing cut outs is closer to the Pro1. So IF we can find a RIGHT SIDE hinged flip case, it would be close to a full match. Oddly I have not been able to find those, though it is the obvious way for two handed usage for right handed people to hold it in your left and operate it with your right hand fingers... I found a LOT of different LEFT SIDED hinged (This goes for the Note 7 cases too), those would have the best fit used up side down on the P
  16. Look in this thread, unfortunately some paperwork-issues delaying the US deliveries.😥
  17. I think you were replying to the wrong comment *LOL*. But the charging while off issue seems to be for any source, including PC-data connection.
  18. For Scandinavian languages this is fixed by FinQWERTY (among other improvements)
  19. Well not really as it is mounted on something, and I do not want to remove it from that until I one day might want to use it. The combined thing feels stiff, but I have no idea if it is a thick protector with a paper thin adhesive protection, or a thin film on a piece of 'cardboard'. So Better ask one of those that has applied it.
  20. Nope, never let it drain so deep that it turned itself off. But purely academicaly, there is an 'issue' if you only have a very poor power source (much less than a pc USB port) offering less power than the Pro1 uses booting. But It should be fixable by using the supplied QC3 adapter that has 18W output, and there is not a chance in H.. that it will use that much during boot - so a VERY academic 'issue'.
  21. Well frankly I just applied the one I knew worked immediately, before doing any examination of the one provided. Applied it before even touching the screen...
  22. Could well be, especially on qwertZ, where caps lock is represented by an up side down shift arrow (like the ancient Shift lock on typewriters) .
  23. ... Found another app, where the sensors can be tried one by one, There are 50, it is the one called "Motion Accel" Shortly after displaying, it restarts the device. (I have tried a few times, but not enough time for a screen shot) ADD: Note that there are more than one app called "Device info" (Also "MultiShake" at the bottom of the list do the same, if you do not exit within about one second) ADD: This bug was originally seen with CPU-Z, a lot on this have been moved over here
  24. A tiny BUG: The battery is reported as 1000mAh to any app asking.
  25. (For the others in here, we had a 'little' PM dialogue digging in logs, but there were no obvious culprit - though some 'suspects' )
