  1. Your "more recent" is still 2½ YEARS old... Would be nice with something ... eh ... recent on the subject.
  2. I wondered about that too, and have forwarded it to the staff, and hope they can get that detail fixed.
  3. I know this is cursing here, but have you heard about a fruit company and their mAcos? 10.0, 10.1, ....10.15, see e.g. wiki
  4. Another guess could be other legal requirements. From in the benign end some emergency functionality, to the more dire ones like required backdoors for NSA and the like in various countries with agencies of that nature.
  5. Currently using version 5.26 (And no that is not "5.2.6"), so long AFTER 5.5. Their 5.5 is from late October 2016
  6. Yes, but it might take some time to for Google to handle this so it can be seen on the individual devices. But it IS on Google's public list as certified. See this
  7. We have seen images of the first batch, and assuming one layer only, it was 120. If more than one layer, well you do the calculus.... Some of those got caught in some US customs paper-hell, we do not know how many.
  8. Mine is encrypted, but I honestly do not recall if I accepted that at some point during the wizard, or it just was by default.
  9. Well even if not, it is just installing the existing image and do the OTA, so should not be that much overhead. But of course most elegant if the image is also updated.
  10. Yes RX100 is REALLY a great little machine. I chose III over IV, as it has ever so slighter better low light, but poorer video stuff - that I never use.
  11. Well not quite, being within the EU. There are (as I understand it) three groups: EU, US, 'Rest of the world'.
  12. Could well be, OR could be they handle an explicit positive list of supported devices? Anyone knows what Netflix requires expects?
  13. This was not among the many I tested, and it has the same bug as Nova of insisting on the same grid for landscape and portrait, thus squeezing&stretching stuff. It has something better and something worse in keyboard navigating the icons. And Key actions are ignored. Should I choose between this and Nova on a Pro1, I think this would be less bad though.
  14. I have lost quite a bit of money on ebay on that account (more than the price of a Pro1...). If you use Paypal (as I usually do), they are seen as a 'bank' in the sense that their buyer protection replaces the buyer protection you normally have in Denmark (and AFAIK the entire EU) when buying with credit cards. It is not on top of it. So since that nasty experience I ALWAYS ensures that it is a seller with enough feedback - unless it is trifle stuff say less than £10 ...And you can add to that all the trouble to get a refund when the buyer never delivers. What I hear in here is that
  15. I have tried at the least 30(!) different launchers, the majority does not support Landscape, and those that does, do so poorly - and that includes Nova. And the few that does have an acceptable (though not good) handling of landscape, does not support keyboard. And Nova also only partly supports keyboard navigation. See a bit on Nova in this thread: https://community.fxtec.com/topic/2481-the-pro1-coming-from-a-n900-the-good-the-bad-and-the-wtf/page/3/ Frankly I think it is a quite clever solution on 2:1, to logically divide the icon-grid into two blocks, and then keep those alm
  16. Previously (at the least) your protection was practically non-existing (except from the credit card company) for sellers with a reputation less than 100. I'm not aware that should have changed, but might be wrong.
  17. It is standard newer Android, but actually you can do a VERY long swipe up to get to the app drawer (But that is even more inconvenient than a double swipe). I have suggested them to add an icon we could choose to put where we like for the app drawer, as the simplest solution.
  18. HFR 120, normal speed and 0.25x OpenCamera https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/GboU8LZM8oI32NfVcOvvloqDIrfa2jxWQ6tvSqqpR0W So the 0.25x really just means recording as 120fps and saving as 120fps / 4 = 30fps.... 😥 (And that should be the difference between 120 HFR and 120 HSR in qualcomm's app too)
  19. as posted elsewhere, you should be aware that you through adb can disable or logically uninstall individual apps including the GApps. see e.g. this
  20. If it is not Android as such but ´merely´ the GApps that annoys you, then you might not be aware that you trough ADB can disable or logically uninstall them. see e.g. this.
  21. (there already are a few user reviews in here, and I bet more will come)
  22. I think you better contact support on that. This is primarily user-to-user. (And i for one have no idea)
  23. Yes I both got a "Pre production" prototype (with not all antennas and stuff), A "Final sample" (fully functional), And a regular IGG backer pre-order for a qwertZ variant.
  24. Yeah, but I can not find the 0.25 speed in the Qualcomm app - It could still be there though, me looking in the wrong places....
