Has anyone had issues with Bluetooth call quality? Regular audio (i.e music) sounds fine, but for calls people's voices sound clipped (here's an example of what I mean). I've tried multiple different Bluetooth headsets and speakers, same issue. No problem using the handset or through the headphone jack, and the same Bluetooth devices worked fine in my Droid 4.

Here is a screenshot. According to Reddit discussion the screenshot option does appear for some phones (not sure why some phones and not others), but aside from screenshots in 14.1 I remember being able to toggle DND, aeroplane mode, ring/vibrate.

So I finally set up my Pro1 to use as my main phone last weekend. Previously it had mostly sat locked away in between experimentations with LineageOS 16.0, then my own builds of 17.1 with MicroG (not to mention trying to make my own silicone phone case, that did not go well), but now I just use the 18.1 MicroG builds. My Droid 4 has now been retired, as has the Moto Z Play that I bought for use with the keyboard mod that never was (migrating 2 phones worth of apps/data was a big effort I don't want to go through again). And I presume there'd be no data loss on upgrade, like updating LOS? I noticed that last week when I did my first LOS build for my Droid 4, Android security patch level is "5 December 2019".

I tried again today and see there's one relating to Google SafetyNet. EDIT: So it seems the updates are installed sequentially, rather than one big superceding one. I'm not sure if anyone else with a Pro1 is in Australia, but you'll need the OTA update to get phone calls working. On the original stock firmware everything worked but outgoing calls which would not dial out and incoming calls would be engaged or straight to voicemail. Same for LineageOS, but currently no update to fix it. There is one other thing I noticed; when I dial *#*#4636#*#* I see that "VoLTE provisioned" is greyed out and disabled. Hopefully that can be turned on in future.

I put mine on really badly, but still all but about 3 or 4 air bubbles disappeared over a few days. But as soon as I did it I was pretty annoyed with myself and bought some replacements straight away. I found these specifically for the Pro1, if anyone's interested (they also have an eBay store). Version numbers don't follow decimal number rules. They aren't a decimal number, as others have mentioned, but major.minor, or in the case of semantic versioning, major.minor.patch. Or really whatever a developer feels like, which hopefully maps to a coherent strategy.

Regarding the software, there is one thing that doesn't seem right to me: there doesn't seem to be a way to swipe up from the home screen to see your app drawer. Instead, it shows you the running apps, and you swipe up again to get the app drawer. Maybe this is standard Android now, but it feels clunky to me. Also, the size is growing on me. I'd still prefer a bit smaller, but it's just about thin enough to be more usuable than the Moto Z with one hand 👍

If they reshaped it to be wide and short rather than tall, I reckon it would fit in that flap. I didn't realise this was an FCC requirement, seems strange to me. Not software features, but 2 small things that bug me about the phone: - That IMEI sticker on the back. The middle gap of my Droid 4 proved a problem for me last week; a bank card in my pocket got wedged in between the keyboard and the screen and sliced through the flex cable, killing the display. So yes, a small middle gap is a great thing (also I won't be putting loose bank cards in the same pocket ever again).

As much as I can't wait for more (and hopefully smaller) keyboard phones to come out, I think it's more important that Fxtec first has a internal review of the past few months to see what they can adjust from a service/delivery/expectation management perspective (i.e a retro, for those of you familiar with Agile development).
