Those mounting brackets and RPi4 CMs might be official spare parts for the Linxdot miner that is/was marketed by F(x)tec. Still strange these items pop up on Ebay.

Update : feedback history shows additional information, sorry I initially didn't see it because eBay only shows item-specific feedback by default, and spotting that filter is tricky. they bought something from Cashconverters_lancashire at some point ; they also sold the following items in the past : Antenna Mounting Bracket, U-bolt Galvanised Clamp for Helium Mining Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4, WIFI 8GB RAM, 16GB eMMC - CM4108016 That's suspicious at best...

They're using FX Technology Ltd's VAT ID number, and also selling this PowerPax power supply. I can't say if this indicates whether it's official or not, but I'm pretty sure we'll never get an official reply to this question.

Someone named fxtec_21 purports to sell 200 brand-new Pro1/X earphones on ebay: Fxtec In-Ear Earphones - Wired with built-in Microphone - 4 replacement Ear tips Strange, as those are (and afaik have always been) listed as out-of-stock on their own shop: https://store.fxtec.com/product/fxtec-pro1/ Not that I'd like to buy them (the shipping cost to continental Europe is 4x the unit price), but out of curiosity: Is this official?

BUT i still have one big problem on los21. Screen rotate is sometime tooo slow and laggy. Rotating animation freeze on 75% of rotating process for approx 2-4 seconds 😞 It is not launcher problem - tested on original los launcher and then on lawnchair too

One interesting thing. After last los update are all buttons on wired headphones again working 🙂 I mean specially volume and play/pause. Was not working on all android 13 los versions.

i saw somthing interessting, there is 3 metalic parts, on the back cover of the phone One on the top, an other on the center, and last at bottom. The black lines are not only for the beauty, this is insulation

i 've just open mine to change screen, and see some spring are missing not, all that same like yours, and i have one spring broken (copper unstick from PCB) Wifi was not excellent, 4G LTE not realy good (wcdma often better), and NFC not working

Not that I know of. I do assume they will still make some updates, though maybe not often, since they are still allowing pledges. They are clearly not answering questions much except to tell people they will send out Discord links for backers.

Minimal developers (which may prove to be the ultimate appellation for this project) announced they were meeting with Chinese factories on April 12, but have posted no further progress, other than the hiring of tech honcho Simon Brooks, who appears to be a living person, always good. I'd be interested in reading their discord subforum, but apparently, one needs an invite. Is there any way to lurk uninvited in Discord?

Just for the record, their linxdot forums have also turned private, with no option to join. There seems to be a Discord channel, though, which can be entered.

On that page, they also mention LinxDot, Clicks and DeckHD which seem to be intended for being links but they also point nowhere although those pages exist.

I hope you are right, but if so a bit odd they did not provide a link on the new front page. Time will tell if it will be added later... could also be that they just archived it for now,, until they decide what to do.

...and it also looks better from this viewpoint... So if they want to have a more general opening page where they can show their different products and smartphones are only one category of them, then it may be a good sign... 🙂 (So they may not want to shut down their smartphone business but extend (incorporate) their other product lines...)

As I found with a different set of links, not everything on those pages work though it's true they don't take you to the new page... they just don't work. And neither link has the videos, although they are still available HERE and HERE (on the second link you have to scroll down to find the take apart and repair videos).

Videos are still live too. I downloaded the pages to offlines. Nothing is ever "gone".

Another difference is (at least for the very first hundreds of Pro1) is the gluing strength of the display. (F(x)tec covered almost its entire back of the display leaving only edges for fixing display to frame - they apparently modified this solution to fully use display's original sticky part without covering.) By mistake, once I have ordered an Elephone U Pro display together with its frame. It was a metal frame (so very rigid) and display was fully glued to the surface (whole sticky area was used) - it was not easy to remove it to be used in Pro1. Definitively there is a reas

@VaZso Check this 'fix' for your ghost touch problems. I've had no issues about it anymore. The touch problem didn't appear with the original Elephone U Pro so the display itself can't be at fault. My guess is that FxTec left too little space for the touch screen ribbon cable and therefore squeezed it too much. By natural movement (i.e. in pockets), the ribbon cable lines eventually brakes right where the plastic corner of the frame is.

Strange... I hope for original pages to be officially available later, for example, phone specs... I don't know if this change is a good or bad sign... at least they mention their other projects there... I hope it is a temporary page before coming back... or at least they keep this forum running... I don't know what to think about it.
