  1. FYI... Made huge progress on selinux today. I should have an enforcing build by end of week. And I think it can go official after that.

  2. I have one, though I would never dream of parting with it. Ordered April 2019, received December 2019. I think there are a lot of Qwertys out there.

  3. I do, since December 2019, but not for sale. And I was waiting since 2017; IGG backer.

  5. This is a Lesser stag-beetle taken with my Pro1 on Saturday. I have cropped the photo. So it is the small variant of stag-beetle, maybe around 1.5-2 cm only.

  6. I wound up being shipped the phone anyways a month after requesting the refund... Using it since I couldn't resist opening the box but really wish they could update the software which should have been finalized first.

  7. If it works and looks new I'll buy it today. It doesn't have to be flawless. Willing to pay shipping in North America

  11. I summarized it on reddit, but the main things are keyboard working a lot more like it should and no more audio crackle.

  12. I think you misunderstand the idea. My idea is that the site that gets revenue from showing ads would get exactly the same micro-payment from me for NOT showing the crap, as they would have gotten from the ad-broker for showing it..

  13. Is it for any input field or bound to one or a few specific apps? If specific apps, they just might not work well with a physical keyboard. On stock repetitions usually ends immediately as the key is released. BUT if an app (for whatever reason)) does not handle/show the keys as fast as the repetition sends them, This MIGHT build up a 'tail' of pending keystrokes to be handled after the physical key was actually released. In old DOS on PCs this queue/stack was 15 characters 'deep' - I have no idea how deep that it is on Android.

  14. I've never seen or heard of such an issue. Does this happen for just a couple particular keys or for all keys? If it happens for only a few keys, it is most likely a hardware issue. If it happens for all keys, it's more likely to be a software issue. But tracking it down may be a challenge.

  15. You can install and run Lineage at any time. My builds are nearly identical to the official builds.

  17. Of course I did. They answered once on June 9. Following was their reply. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to provide precise shipping dates for each order. However, we have surprised a lot of our customers by shipping it earlier than initially expected. Based on the least optimistic estimate, we’ll have your device shipped by August. We’re getting another batch in 2 weeks, but we can’t promise any of our customers, as we simply have a lot of pre-orders to process. Then Japanese distributer announced they start to sell the phone from July 4. So I asked them by using their web form, but

  18. I have tried both. Out of the 2 I preferred ubtouch but I am biased I just prefer Ubuntu on desktop as well so everything was natural for me. One thing I did like on ubtouch over sailfish was the store a lot more friendly and got some common things on there sailfish was quite lacking. Also web browser was a lot better.

  20. The problem with refund ATM is that they first need to clarify if your phone has not been shipped or already assigned for shipping.

  24. While I agree with you by using those layouts you can avoid the need for this feature, it is still useful if you don't want to install additional layouts. Lineage includes the standard AOSP layouts. The US International included has dead key on apostrophe, making normal english annoying, and there is no version with deadkeys only with altgr like pcs (and sailfishos) and those addon layouts have. Second, for english users who rarely use accents, it's easier than remembering key combinations rarely used. When used regularly, like é in José or résumé or ¹ in Pro¹ you memorize them etc n

  26. This is possible already now by publishing an ad-supported and a paid version of an app. My guess is that greed or gold fever makes (many) app developers use the ad model for payment. I also presume that ad networks support greed by promising unrealistically high revenues. Some apps might achieve these revenue numbers, but most probably don't. I came to this conclusion after encountering countless games that exploit an addiction to gambling and countless apps that are mere copies of other apps. This is furthered by Google not allowing us to filter for apps without ads and in-app purc

  34. A wise man once said to me that you shouldn't loan money to anyone unless you can afford not to get it back. I guess the same rule applies to taking the gamble of pre-ordering something from a new company that has no track record of delivering a product. There is a certain amount of risk involved. You would be naive not to think this. If you can't afford to lose the money then don't take the risk. Having said that, everyone should just stop complaining and being so negative. So the product has been delayed. Give the guys a chance. There is no eveidence to suggest that they're not worki

  35. Bumping this thread, is anyone having issues getting phone calls to work? When someone dials me, I hear the dialer but i'm not able to pick up anything. If I press the power button, the ringing stops but I am not given any opportunity to pick up the phone. Edit: disregard, I somehow got the notifications muted.
