  11. When installing GApps it needs to be tailored for the installed Android version. Since MindTheGApps hasn't been updated in a while and there is no package for Android 10, we have to go with OpenGApps. I followed the official upgrade guide (which for some reason uses "adb reboot sideload" to skip that one button press in recovery). After flashing Lineage and rebootinga1g into the new recovery, I flashed OpenGapps Nano - from the package description it sounded the closest to what MTG included. And if you previously had OpenGApps installed, there should be no trouble, if you accidentally cho

  12. I did achieve my "desktop experience" using a Debian Chroot on top of a rooted LineageOS 16.0 (the same result could probably be obtained using Stock Android 9, if rooted). I installed a customised Debian on a dedicated partition of my SD-card, basically following the receipes found here: https://bogeskov.dk/DebianAndroid.html https://wiki.debian.org/ChrootOnAndroid https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/321491/android-chroot-networking-issues Using Run Userinit from F-Droid, I mount the Chroot at /data/DEBIAN and start its SSH server on boot of the Pro1 (I attach my Chroot sc

  13. My is qwerty one, they should be less rare. I was mainly disapponted by the fact, that support said, that device will be send in a few days, but it was not. Will wait for some more time, I guess.

  15. Android 10 seems to present some additional challenges with the external SD card. With Open Camera, I had to go to "more camera settings" as usual, but unlike with Android 9, I had to toggle on "Use Storage Access Framework." Then it allowed me to give permission for the "Save Location" to access a folder on my SD card and now Open Camera is saving to the SD card again. Google seems to be determined to make things as difficult as possible for using SD cards. Grrrr

  16. I was very much let down by the announcement of the 2nd generation phone before all issues were patched an addressed in this one, and before everyone even received them. Seems they are jumping ship. Not a good look.

  17. So much time have passed since I have payed for pro1 (#48416 from 20-th January 2020), but still no tracking info available. After contacting support around 1 month ago, they said, that tracking info will be available "in the next couple of days", but status is still "Processing". Now support is not even responding to emails. This attitude towards customers is simply bad. I didn't issue a refund yet only because I really like idea of pro1's keyboard.

  18. It has started getting pretty bad, coming more and more often spontaneously and lasting longer when it does, I made another compressed video and sent it to them (although that probably backed up my place in the queue even though I used their acknowledgement email that said provide any further information above the line). Ghost touches launching apps and menus I didn't have the touch indicators turned on or it would have been even clearer, bt it lasted long enough that I could catch it. Usually, by the time I have fumbled for my other phone it is over. Curiously, the pinch spot
