Well launchtime does work with categories. But it has widgets a static shortcut bar and even a last-used page. But it is not a classic launcher. It does a lot differently. If you want a classic launcher lawnchair may be a possibility (I have tested that one, but I can't quite remember how good the landscape support was. But since someone else has recommended it, and it is FOSS, I would have a look on that).
-
Depends on what you want, I would have a look at launchtime, kiss and lawnchair.
-
I have also installed it over f-droid of course. But to be honest on f-droid you find nothing if you don't know the exact name of it 😄

You can just correct all of this you know? Move apps to other categories, add new categories (long click on any category for that) and so on.
-
Well you can't even find it if your playstore is in english and you search for 'launchtime'. The store will correct it to 'Lunchtime' and you have to click that small link to really search for 'launchtime'. This might not be a great help.

For gods sake! Again? Stop ignoring the point in discussions. The point is that they never promised to full fill all orders in January. They just stated that they expect/try/plan (whatever word you like for it) to do it in September. Sure it is a bummer, but the point is as sooooooo often in this thread. They did neither lie nor break a promise in this case! This has nothing to do with semantics at all and I am not arguing at semantics. You really seem to have learned discussion techniques on FOX news or 4chan. Find some spot to attack, which has nothing to do with the actual point, beca

Or just cover it completely it is not that useful anyway 😄 -
Sorry I was unclear. That would only solve the issue of stuff like skype does. Not the illegal activity. And I was talking about it in relation to the law against call recording. Illegal stuff does not really care about that. I of course wholeheartedly agree with your promotion of FOSS! And you all should pay attention and try to protect yourself.
-
Well they clearly stated that they PLAN to do all preorders. And maybe they are not the only company trying to get stuff out before chinese new year. So there could be reasons like the logistic company giving them a slot on a certain day. It could be a difference of 30% if they have to send the phones today or on the 25 of january,

I agree with @netman after trying any FOSS launcher I could find I stuck with launchtime. It needs some configuring and is not the most beautiful thing ever. But it works mint with the keyboard and is astonishingly good. This is one of these launcher which do not try to copy nova but to have a other/better concept behind. If FOSS is important to you there is alos https://gitlab.com/oldosfan/librechair

Not necessarily fraud. You know an audio player sends "anonym data" to increase quality. Or A voice assistant scans recording to improve the product. After all Microsoft analyses your skype calls. This is even compatible with the GDPR and we should not even start with US "data protection" laws. So even if we ignore that there are millions of shady apps out there which do illegal stuff, at least the call recording app could collect the calls. And I am pretty sure there are a lot of other loopholes. The problem is that anonym data nearly always can me merged into a known dataset. I under

FxTec is sending out Mails pretty fast now. But they are not finished. It will maybe even take some more days. But as long as your phone is in this batch it does not make a difference if you receive the mail now or in a few hours. I would advise to hold on 2 more days or so.

I did not read the whole thing, mainly because my dutch is somewhat limited, but may I point out that the found has QWERTY and QWERTZ and not QWERTY and AZERTY. But as far as I understand the rest I like the review.
-
Not exactly what I meant. What I meant is that your friend just records all calls and another app does scan the storage. The permissions for that are easy to get.
-
Your friend uses a strange gallery app on his phone, the recording is uploaded and that is it. The data is merged with your account, your insurance may buy it, done. I know there already is user based pricing, especially if you are gonna book a flight. My point is, that this is the wet dream of any economic student who thinks he understands the whole world. This is extremely dangerous and one of the reasons why data is sooo dam valuable.
-
You mean you are okay with f.e. your insurance getting more expensive or even cancelled because you talked to your friend about your hurting leg? or googled it? The whole danger behind it is not that someone tries to blackmail you, the whole danger is bleeding you out. The more data they have they more money they gonna make from you. In the end the big target of a lot of companies is user based pricing. So since they now you love f.e. chocolate, they gonna sell it for 7 bucks to you !

That is the story of all of Europe. But big parties should not forget 80% did NOT vote for a nazist party, so going more in that direction has the chance to scare of 80% of people to the other side...

Have you tried a tilling WM like awesomeWM or i3 (btw awesome really is awesome)? -
Edge Null does draw over other apps. With a dead zone on the whole right and left. This does on one side mean that it is running constantly and also draining a bit of battery. The bigger problem for me is, that drawing over other apps is a potential security risk. To be clear I am not aware how android currently implements the draw over app function. But it at least was a thing that some apps were drawing over the whole screen record all your input and dispatch the input down to the underlying apps. So it was easy to get hold of passwords etc. After all the app has full network acce

Since i use Launchtime which does autocategorize apps (and has a search screen). I do not scroll in an app list anyway. So I give edge null a shot. But don't like the idea to have an overlay on my apps the whole time!
-
Well not for me, but only because I often use it one handed. Once I reach all the way to the left with my thumb my palm does touch the right edge.

This link does not provide a definition for "constructive--criticism" only for "constructive". Well it does contain: "helping to improve; promoting further development or advancement (opposed to destructive):". So if it is rude and nobody listens to it it is also not constructive by this definition because it does not help. But that is not the point, I said a lot of definitions: https://www.definitions.net/definition/CONSTRUCTIVE+CRITICISM http://www.businessdictionary.com/definition/constructive-criticism.html Just the top google results. (The links do contain what I said, that is why
