  1. In most countries no. Here for example the company must at least give you the basic health insurance. However it is not illegal to loss your application sheet, or forget to answer you. Then there are countries like the US where they don't have to insurance you. Sure all this data must be anonymized but we all know how easy you get names out of it.
  2. The really dangerous stuff is: They could sell the data, for example to insurances. Then you can't get a new one, just because you googled some things about a cancer type (could be medical research for school even). Or banks will deny you loans and stuff like that...
  3. Oh I bet you had a hard time after the roses kicked the all blacks out of the competition 😄
  4. Eske works in Databases not software, I bet he says that is something completely different 😄
  5. They depend completely on 3rd parties. It even starts to get more difficult if you have to guess for other developers, or work with their guesses. Also there is not always the possibility to add a big reserve, sometimes you got told to not overestimate it, because getting this project could lead to further more lucrative projects. Guessing is insanely hard if your error margin is gone! Often someone also need to guess stuff he have no idea of and can't spend a week researching that stuff, someone needs to use experience and guts. Managing situations like that is what makes good proje
  6. That is another thing. Yes but as I said before: It is a small team of engineers not marketing guys. They may have a lot of stress and fear over their future. It might be not that easy for them. But yeah they surely should!
  7. No, but I would have if I had to to the guesswork 10 years ago. And my personal financial future was never at that stake theirs must be. Wouldn't you ever had estimated a project way to short? Was there never a printer not working in a critical moment or the network down? Had you never had to wait for a third-party company to finish there part 3 months to late?
  8. It is utterly important to keep critics valid and focused. There is a point where they could do better (communications) and there are a lot of points where it is insanely hard to do better without having a name first. For example the order of the fulfilment. Imagine this: First batch had problems with logistics, it was just to complicated for the partner Since the second batch should be big enough, they told logistics to just forget the order and deliver to anybody on the list. Second batch has a production issue (without a lot of experience this is unlikely to be fore
  9. Yes multiple people in the EU have a phone (mosen, eske, waschmaschine-nl) They did QA during production that is why the screens poped up. But I suppose you mean preproduction? Since it is an production error and the preproduction is different from the production, it seems that this issue is new.
  10. Your dog clearly absorbs sun energy. He will release it someday with a violent burst!
  11. Depends, if the certification is finished before or after the second batch 😛
  12. Sorry to misinterpret you. But they could learn and improve the single process steps with my proposed method. But anyway my point is, that a single delivery-batch could be made of multiple production batches. So until further information we can not assume how big the batch is.
  13. Also production batches do not necessarily equals delivery batches. They could f.e. do 1 step a day. That would mean 2X in the first week or so, 4X in the next. We can not assume the size of the second delivery batch from the information we have. Could be 2X but also 6X, 14X ... As eske said, they also can work parallel, so start Step 1 with 2X. After that Start Step 2 with 2X and restart Step 1 with 4X. And like that a delivery batch consist of multiple production batches: Day 1: 2X * Step 1 Day 2: 2X * Step 2, 4X * Step 1 Day 3: 2X * Step 3, 4X * Step 2, 6X * Step 1
  14. This may be hard to understand, but there are some errors everybody new to these kind of stuff has to make. FxTec is a bunch of engineers and may not had this experience before. Imagine yourself in this situation: You have a delay, not much but maybe 4 weeks. Your career depends on your customers staying happy. So you contact all your delivery partner about the new situation and ask them when they will deliver. They tell you at latest in the middle of October. So you update your customers because you want to keep'em happy and that is where the trouble begins. Sales people of company's
  15. Of course, and I understand the urge to ask him. But he is still the wrong guy to ask specific support questions regarding your order! And of course I didn't wanted to compare Chen to TIm on any personal or professional level, Chen is obviously a nicer guy! It was just an example.
  16. It is somewhat a bad idea to directly contact Waxberry. You should write a Mail to the support-team. I know some people here know him and he often replies. But it is not the default case that the CEO of a company handles these things. You would not write Tim Cook about the sate of your order, would you?
  17. Most of the delay probably was to make that android launcher landscape compatible 😄 I am looking forward to not needing 15 minutes to enter my wlan password 😄
  18. You just described the problem YouTube has in one sentence 😄
  19. Then you are the chosen one, you can answer the question that is as old as mankind: Will a blender blend?
  20. Doubt it, he is German, there is no need for a blender to drink beer 😄
