Well glad you put some work into communication. I hope it will be some more communication and not only more of these marketing post. Anyway, this is probably one of the places with the lowest percentage of Instagram user at all ๐ Might need another form of giving credits!

That is the story of all of Europe. But big parties should not forget 80% did NOT vote for a nazist party, so going more in that direction has the chance to scare of 80% of people to the other side...

Any updates on desktop OS's?

Have you tried a tilling WM like awesomeWM or i3 (btw awesome really is awesome)? -
Edge Null does draw over other apps. With a dead zone on the whole right and left. This does on one side mean that it is running constantly and also draining a bit of battery. The bigger problem for me is, that drawing over other apps is a potential security risk. To be clear I am not aware how android currently implements the draw over app function. But it at least was a thing that some apps were drawing over the whole screen record all your input and dispatch the input down to the underlying apps. So it was easy to get hold of passwords etc. After all the app has full network acce

Since i use Launchtime which does autocategorize apps (and has a search screen). I do not scroll in an app list anyway. So I give edge null a shot. But don't like the idea to have an overlay on my apps the whole time!

Well not for me, but only because I often use it one handed. Once I reach all the way to the left with my thumb my palm does touch the right edge.

This link does not provide a definition for "constructive--criticism" only for "constructive". Well it does contain: "helping to improve; promoting further development or advancement (opposed to destructive):". So if it is rude and nobody listens to it it is also not constructive by this definition because it does not help. But that is not the point, I said a lot of definitions: https://www.definitions.net/definition/CONSTRUCTIVE+CRITICISM http://www.businessdictionary.com/definition/constructive-criticism.html Just the top google results. (The links do contain what I said, that is why

Honestly while I find this really really nice. It may have been more important to have good devices at CES. In the end we all need you to survive. But in the end it is a nice move, thank you!

It is true that most likely nobody wants to attack eric directly. But it does feel like it, which is enough. I bet this is no fun for eric. Harsh critic is never constructive, even though it might have a constructive core. But one could never ever take it constructive. Either you block it because the tone was off, or you accept it but feel shitty because the asshole is right. Which will most likely result in a lower involvement. They term constructive critic may be technically what you describe but most modern definitions of "constructive criticism" do involve a friendly manner (And
-
@cmar In fact I thought about this and should have gone for a post without a quote. It was more like an automatic reaction to hit quote. Please forgive me. I hope you feel not attacked. I am sorry I have taken your post as an example for my speech.
-
No I do not address, nor attack anyone in here (Or at least don't want to, because I understand the anger). And I do not remember you as vicious personality, so at least for me we are totally fine! Please do not feel attacked. I just wanted to hint how we could improve asking for more proof. You must understand, that we hear these things and this tone for months now in this forum and it is not helping. Please excuse the fact that I have taken you as example, it was just one of many.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely agree that everybody should doubt the statements. I just does not help to demanding stuff in that usual angry internet user tone. And yeah it is handled shitty. But we can talk about what is shitty we are grown ups. Well I know we already did and it did change nothing. But so will ranting. But it is a different thing to criticism the company than to suggest @Erik does say things which he doesn't think are true. I strongly believe @Erik does what he can and says what he knows and is allowed to share. The only thing we get from treating @Erik like a

Yeah but there were not a lot updates at all ๐ So there could be a lot more issues we don't know of. If you follow other sources there are hints that this may be true. However we don't know. That is exactly the worst part of this project, we don't know anything at all!
-
While I absolutely agree that the updates are a waaaaaaay better way of handling a product like that, some assumptions in this post are not certain. We do not know how many they started to produce, we do not know if they had to redo thousands of devices.

We should just not forget that this is an insanely hard task to develop HW like this. And you are the bottom of the pond: 1. Prio: Chinese companies 2. Prio: Big companies 3. Prio: Small contracts which are ordered spontanious 4. Prio: These weird british startup So if something goes wrong like protests and stuff, you are fucked! P.S. I am sorry for you, hope you will get your Cosmo soon. But is is inferior to the all mighty prawn anyway ๐

I honestly understand everybody who has lost trust and did cancel their order. I wouldn't have done that but I can understand it. But demanding stuff and demotivate the staff I can't understand. It will not help. Yes they are not the best with communications. Yes this whole project did not go down as planned. So place constructive critic no problem. Cancel your order no problem. But here a lot of people are thinking fxtec owns them some sort of personal account. You gave them 700 bucks and should be threaten with respect, but that is not enough to be allowed to let your aggression ou

If I understand Eric correctly they use the same workers for logistics and production. So instead of shifting the workforce around multiple times and loosing valuable time in the process, they will leave them on production until all units are finished. After that all units will be shipped together.

Luckily I only had like 8 years of French in school, so I couldn't know that one ๐ Nay I just thought they are also on the US-Int keyboard. However it is as said possible to insert them on the phone: key: ' (apostrophe) shift+key: " (quotation mark) fn+key: ยด (combining acute accent) fn+shift+key: ยจ (combining diaeresis) fn+ctrl+key: ยจ (combining diaeresis) alt+key: " (quotation mark) There is also a combining backtick at the tilde sign. It is way easier it is FN+SHIFT+A. Dead keys are inefficient. It uses US International (altgr-intl variant) as primary. However dead keys are usable to, ร then would be FN+SHIFT+' -> SHIFT+A but I see no reason why this should be preferred. Please note FN+SHIFT is hard to type, that is why CTRL+FN works too -
Well as someone with some (of course only theoretical) knowledge of manipulating public votes I see some patterns here. The ramping up in the end is not what a natural habit looks like. Often people vote at the beginning when it is posted everywhere and tend to forget it more and more. A slight boost in the end is normal as everyone is trying to push the fanbase (I doubt the WOW cube has one). But scripted voting often happens in the end because you do want to know how far you have to go. You don't want to overshoot it since it draws attention!

I had no trouble opening it after like 5 minutes but yeah a lot of people I gave the phone too had. But I can absolutely confirm that once learned it is a great hinge. As long as you don't pay attention to it, it basically opens itself.

And probably also the repairability. It is easy to make a waterproof block of glue....
