  1. Yes, several of us have. The question is for how long. For a number of us, it doesn't last. But if you are on their network with a phone that has VoLTE provisioned already, you already have the mule, so you might as well try and just see how it goes. T-Mobile can be the backup plan.
  2. The relevant threads @EskeRahn is referring to are these: As @Craig said, the upshot is that AT&T and T-Mobile are pretty easy if they have good coverage where you are. Verizon id very tricky-- involves having to have a mule phone (a phone that Verizon has approved for VoLTE) and then transferring the SIM. Often works very smoothly at first if you follow the instructions in the Verizon thread, but hads broken down for several, usually affecting being able to send SMS. You cannot use CDMA with Verizon (which is why you need a SIM that has been enabled with VoLTE). I
  3. And I went 3 months with no problems. 😉 Good luck. Really, I'm hoping it's all fine for you.
  4. Key commands are listed on the overview tab on the website.
  5. I've basically solved the Landscape versus Portrait problems with Nova-- I am these days using my Pro1 about 95% in Landscape. I pull it from my pocket and just pop it open, whatever I want to do. Nice grip, don't have to worry about curved edges and, at this point, with much practice, easy to do. So I design my Home screen landscape and don't much care what happens in portrait. I was using Launchtime, which had all apps sorted into category tabs, but it ended up having a few quirks I didn't like. But I loved the scheme-- essentially it was Palm Launcher from Palm OS days. So I designe
  6. Moot point, I think. 😉 I agree with @Slion that things are difficult right now. And yes, if you need a phone, you may want to get one to use for now (when my Nexus 6p died, I spent 6 months on a cheap Moto G6).
  7. Welcome, dumarcm. You won't really get much in the way of answers here because we don't know-- which is both good news and bad news. All we can do is make guesses without much data. On the one hand, they got one good sized shipment out prior to the Chinese New Year and were ready to roll when everyone came back-- except that's when the virus closed down China. But we know they can do it. We just received an update HERE that they now finally have 100% of staff in factory and probably most of the parts (moving pieces around in China is still a bit slow but improving). If they now get
  8. These things are always dependent on where you are. I went through the SMS failure twice with Verizon. Worked great when it worked and I might have gotten it working again, but AT&T is so good where I am and most places I go, I lost my motivation for fiddling with Verizon. I do very much hope you do somehow not have any problems with Verizon in the future.
  9. Whereas. I love that feature. It's how I get my em-dash 😉 Also, it doesn't fire accidentally on me.
  10. Seems strange to evaluate it by app. I know the chart is just what you want the keyboard to do and not an overall comparison of keyboards, but folks my want to know that I tested sticky shift with two word processors, a text editor, and an email program. AOSP stick shift works in everything I tried. I don't have Gmail on my phone as I never use Gmail to do Gmail, but it seems clear to me that sticky shift works with the AOSP keyboard. Why there is an exception for Gmail someone else will have to figure out. 😉
  11. On Lineage, I get sticky shift with the AOSP keyboard. Since I actually don't care about any of the other red Ns for the AOSP keyboard, it is my choice. The my main knock with Swift Key aside from the red Ns is that it really sucks at swyping for those few times I use an onscreen keyboard, which is becoming less and less. It's just so easy to flip out the hardware keyboard. Gboard is far and away the best at swyping with almost supernatural accuracy, but AOSP is good enough and gives me the symbol menu.
  12. Okay, I finally figured out how to get the symbol keyboard when you press SYM, which Craig highlighted earlier in this thread. You have to be using the AOSP keyboard, not Gboard. I prefer Gboard and it is still installed, but I like this symbol keyboard. That gives me the copyright symbol.
  13. This is really trivial and some people may shake their heads, but I discovered holding the dash & underline key in Lineage pops up an EM dash! This is so useful. Now if I could get a pop-up for the copyright symbol...

You can read through the older discussion of this here: Exsum is this is a known bug that hasn't been fixed yet.
  15. They are, I believe. I think Craig simply meant the only way to get safety net now...
  16. Actually, more issues than stock. Nothing worked and all the switches that might make it work in the phone menu were grayed out. Luckily, I did have an option to switch networks.
  17. A tangent, but you do know that with LOS you can get arrow keys for the software keyboard (in Portrait)-- the setting for it is in System/ buttons. Most AOSP ROMs have that feature and was a life saver all these previous years when I had no hardware keyboard. The arrows appear on the nav bar when the soft keyboard is invoked.
  18. So you were watching an old World Series game. Because I'm pretty sure you didn't have a Pro1 back then. 😂 Go Cubs!
  19. Was a guess, but I think Eske was right and I was wrong.
  20. I don't need to press U once. Holding any letter key that has accented alternatives will pop up the window. I'm just saying tht, so far, it hasn't triggered accidentally if I only tap the key. As you say, it may be a fresh flash still and I will start seeing what you are eventually.
  21. I still haven't seen this phenomenon. Of course, I'm new to Lineage, so maybe I will sometime.
  22. Bumping this thread. I finally jumped to Lineage and it is wonderful-- a far more finished OS than stock. And, lol, if I can install it, anyone can, but the folks on Discord, particularly @Craig are very helpful. Rooted too. Never going back. Sent more beers to tdm... great job, sir. Can't wait until you are back on it.
  23. Yeah, given how I use a browser on a phone, Bookmarks aren't such a big deal despite my earlier post. I keep things in tabs that I go to regularly and then search for any new needs. For tabs, best if it were a two key shortcut rather than three keys, so I would prefer Ctrl-L
